This is the worst possible time for maintenance.

While the maintenance itself cannot be helped it would be appreciated if whatever steps possible can be taken to mitigate the potential damage this may cause to traders and the trader bidding system this week.

One of the guilds won a bid on a trader they did not did on, they won the bid on the trader they had bid on the previous week.

Also, it isn't random who wins a bid. It is the highest bidder. (Though I do not know what would happen if 2 guilds bid the exact same highest bid).

So no exploit was done just errors during the bidding process.

most likely it happened then, because of some kind of rollback or social bug, which made the bidding information not going "in" correctly and some guilds just seemed to the server as "no bid". i remember that times when that happened on pc eu, and i was plain server issues leading into server not receiving bids.

Guess will be a surprise later today, when log-in works again. D

I strongly support this notion! It must be postponed.

Tbh I think, ZOS should start implementing the Auction House debate into the forum TOS. Actually its off topic anyways since "we need auction house" has absolutely nothing to do with the topic here. There is nothing more annoying, than people who swarm into trade guild threads like on commando to tell, that there needs to be an auction house as solution to everything trade guild related, you're not even helpfull or contributing anything to the topic. ZOS stated multiple times, it wont come. Its not even on the "maybe if u ask a million times" list, its on the "abolutely, no, no stop annoying us with that topic - hell no and now go away" list.
