In my explorations I've come across items I can take that are simply labeled 'Bottle'. But they don't seem to do anything... they don't even show up in my inventory. Does anyone know what's up with this?
Maybe there's some super secret bottle-grabber achievement to be unlocked when you collect some unknown number of bottles. I'm joking. Well, half joking.
Nope, kids, they're actually in your inventory as potions. Sometimes they raise stamina, or magicka, or health for 35 min., etc., but they're there. Go look again, now that you know what to look for.
as soon as I find out why my account has been suspended and I am permitted by the ESO banning gods to return I will certainly take a look. Thanks for the response Thesiren
what Therisen said - when you pick up a generic item in the world, like "bottle", it becomes, in your inventory, one of the traditional drinks that you might make from provisioning, like the white wine or the truth-glimpse or whatnot
hope that helps
