That aside I think the fix is to remove all the doors in Cyrodiil except those on keeps and outposts. Then it would be PvP instead of Pv load screen.

It is what it is and I just accept a minority will cause the grief. Its not clever or skilful and personally I don't know what they get from it. I guess an analogy in PVE would be killing mudcrabs for fun...the fun lasts 10 seconds flat and you'd not repeat it. I run 14 characters, mostly PVE but a couple in PVP and all of them in PVP at least to get Assault rank 5. What PVP does for you (and its been said before many times) is hones your fighting skills, especially blocking, dodging and bursting so whatever the gankers and griefers do to you just laugh it off - you live to fight another day....literally

Amen brother. I learned my ropes when I spent two years in TERA. I guess we all have to learn to avoid the hamsterwheel somewhere (those of us who learn, that is). I don't give two f's about events anymore. I eat my cake, and that is the most I've done for this event.

And nothing, absolutely nothing will make me do pvp. I don't care what cool prizes and skills are gated behind it.

This is the correct approach. I hate ESO PVE, so I am skipping events that involve it.

Many here do no not know what griefing actually is. Just because one may feel grief doesn't mean they were griefed. Most of those complaining of being harassed and griefed have no business playing in a PVP zone because they lack the mental toughness.

As a raid leader from a PvP guild, I really couldn't be bothered at all to go to any village.
One time we wanted to look because there was a 3 alliance fight, it was super boring there.
Saw blues trying to kill yellow questers and we just running by and killing the ones who attacked us.
I don't understand the people who find it fun to kill them, I'd rather have a challenging fight.

You bring up a good point. The griefing that goes on in ESO is pretty tame in comparison to other MMOs. I'm used to getting death threats and racial slurs messaged to me in other games. But here, it's all just "git gud, scrub" and "your class is cancer". It's almost quaint, really.

I am a pvp player occasionally but doing quests with my pve chars in cyro towns and got killed several times, well got bit frustrated because those poor pvpver noobs wasted my time only but you changed my mood^^

I don't know I'm kind of on the fence on this I've been on both sides of the fence both a ganker and one being ganked. It sucks getting killed trying to do a quest. One thing I do not agree with is *** that wait until you are busy turning in a quest and then kill you. That is a *** move at least attacking other players in the open they have a chance to fight.

But I can't help but feel that the reward over the grief is a huge one. It's one of the largest times farming those npc quests to get the loot boxes so many at one time. So in fairness it should be hard and frustrating to get that many boxes at once. I mean PvP is a wild kingdom place kill or be killed. I think that people whining and crying on the forums do not help PvE at all in PvP area matter of fact it makes it worse. so to a degree PvE'ers need to suck it up and gripe between themselves and not post it on the forums that only leads to more griefing. Like blood in the water sort of thing. So next year you probably will wont to tone down the b***hing on the forums and there will probably be a bit less ganking.

Also people let us not forget that PvE players in their own right are just as bad during events when it deals with dungeon running or even out of events. PvE players make it so bad to que up for dungeons because you will kick people for not right build, damage out put, or doing the right thing, and/or not knowing the boss rotation. Either that or you talk crap to that person so by no means are PvE people any different then PvP players.

Probably correct after the first day or two.
I preferred to do the town quests early in the morning. Few players on and few players also make ganking very boring.
Its also important to select the correct campaign.

And yes it makes the campain useless for PvP for AD but very nice for PvE

So today I wanted to help my alliance instead of doing town quests but seriously... Why do pvpers act like pvers are a totally different species? And what the hell does define a pvp and a pve player? I do both but I do more pvp, yet I have the feeling I can only call myself a pvp player I I can do 1vX..

the worst thing with it is as most pvers just came on those newest short campaigns created for event to do this event and along with them many trash pvpers came jsut to farm them for literally free ap or jsut to show them as they are "pvpers" on trash skill level fighting against unprepared pvers while rest normal and skilled pvpers stayed on their campaigns/places with fighting against other pvpers :P

Don’t exactly understand what part of your brain thinks I’m in the slightest upset that someone disagrees with me that farming this event is fun. Seems like you’re just another upset pve’er.

Also you do realize... most pvpers who actually grind hard for AP typically earn 5 mil+ a week.. so actually earning 4-5 mil by just farming people on towns building a big offense tick then flipping it after an hour or so farming which gives a large offense tick is actually a lot of AP considering it’s only been a week especially when you consider how much time off the game one would spend.
This really just shows how uninformed and ignorant you are to PvP If you think 4-5 million AP in only a week isn’t a lot. Considering the time circumstances.
Especially since normally earning AP without PvDooring is how you actually earn AP by killing people. But PvDooring has kinda ruined AP worth since a bunch of zerglings just take empty keeps all day to get an easy 300k or so a day. So the fact that you think PvDooring kids who just take empty keeps all day to get AP are “true pvpers” is just hysterical.

So thanks for showing that you’re just another upset pve’er who knows nothing of PvP and you’re just salty you came into cyrodiil expecting to be given the privledge of questing.
Make sure to actually get some thumbs for next PvP event so you don’t get farmed so ruthlessly and can actually fight back.

Actually, I didn't get farmed all week. I PvP'd with my guild. I'm somewhere around #85 or so in Vivec right now. Nothing to brag about but certainly had to earn a spot in the top 100. As far as enjoying my stay in Cyrodiil, thank you. But Cyrodiil is the only place I play. I won't be going anywhere. I play PC NA by the way. I hope you do too. I would love to see your farming skills. As far as being hurt over a video game goes, you're a little off base. See I didn't get farmed by you. As a matter of fact, I didn't get farmed by anybody. Im a PvPer. I know better than that. And yes I am a little salty. I'm salty that certain people reproduce when they clearly should not.

I didnt get farmed, just was killed few times by different more exp player for me as I well...play *** stamplar to everything while had longer break from pvp but still had enough mind and skill to not being farmed by arrogant mid level pvpers
more and I was trying to help pvers in towns against noobs ganking on the and well....while every normal mid pvp noob was harder to kill for me all I needed to do against noob gankers was 1button spam - jabs lol, against jsut nb gankers ganking and literally 1shotting pvers - this is showing all skill of those pvpers farming pvers
to back the only problem which I had against nongankers it was jsut thing of playing stamplare and have literally no exp about this class in pvp xD so gg

and tbh as farming newies and pvdoor are simliar with gaining ap then....then you cleary are toxic person prefering to make suffer other players which are just worse at this one thing than you as you was farming pvers and this seems you wont to do anything special to any other mid pvper which have small amount of exp from pvp

ins tarted posts you was cleary describing your skill on pvp happy from killing pve crybabies which have literally no knowledge about pvp so against someone with knowledge about pvp you would have hard time to even stay alive I suppose

Also I wish I made a ganker just to 2 shot people and cloak away to safety, but I didnt feel like grinding a character just for a week long event tbh.

I think if most of them would actually used these short campains the average queue position to start from, wouldn't have been raised from 15 to 120.

Sure griefing people is an questionable activity especially when they try to avoid pvp encounters by choosing a small campaign. I did it in hope they would take an other campaign the next day, and there for decrease my time spent waiting in queue.

ah right forgot about waiting, but then yes, they can in this time go for keeps, as when I was doing those quesut, full map was for my alliance and in one day ather alliances was jsut taking keeps and fighting in keeps as I have seen on map and zone chat but in other day nopbody was fighting at keeps buf everyone was running around towns to farm questers, even not toucing flags in towns, just running around to kill everyone not ready/unprepared/not willing this pvp - this is main problem as that was said

First off your grammar is absolutely atrocious. Secondly. the fact that you think jab spamming would kill anyone with thums just proves you’d be another easy kill since you probably have no thumbs.
