As an ESO Necromancer you do have numerous undead minions at your command. An entire Legion of them. Can you not feel them at your back? Can you not see them in your mind's eye?
When you cast a Necromancy spell you call forth some of these minions from the Soul Cairn to carry out your will upon Nirn. When the spell is over the minions return the Soul Cairn. Sometimes the minions leave transliminal echoes of themselves behind on Nirn in the form of "corpses".
That is how Necromancers make inter-evocative hermetic harmonic resonance work for them in the hyperagonal world of TES, or at least it could be with a bit of imagination.

And even in the MMO's industri I can only think of 1 necromancers that had more then 1 permanent pet and its in DAoC.
I can understand that some player wished it would be a multi skeleton class but reading the complaint it feel like if ZOS went agaisnt all odds for some reasons.

Etc.
I hope the Necromancer is the last Class.
We need more Skill Lines (Weapons, Guilds etc). And I'm not talking about one Skill Line per update. I'm talking about several at once!
Guild Wars 1 and 2 allow multiple minions. In GW2 I believe the maximum is 6, because of the way the skills work in that game, but they will stay with you until defeated or unsummoned. In GW1 the maximum was 14, but they'd lose health constantly and the more you had the harder it became to keep them alive.

Maybe that's the reason?
