Sure all is fair in love in war, but I seen few mention if any the group of PvP players who got out of their way to make sure their faction can PvE Peace. They are the people who making the event heartwarming.
P.S ZOS please fix the door and load screen ganking before week 5.

Why ZOS doesn't implement a similar "silence" system in Cyrodiil just like the one in IC is beyond me.
I can PvP and take care of myself in Cyro, but getting killed while loading screen indoor is another story.
But, since I was forced to go to Sewer dill to get pretty boxes,

There is no PvE in a PvP zone. A quest isn't the exclusive right of a PvE player.
A huge hint there's no PvE quests in Cyrodiil? Other players had to defend it....with PvP.
A quest in a PvP zone that gives a PvP currency reward with the expectation that PvP can happen on said quest....sounds like a PvP quest to me.
I agree, the door killing is a low blow. A easy fix is to give boxes out only for the mission board quests in your alliance safe zone. Can't be ganked turning in quests and there's no "PvE" elements to those quests, so no misunderstanding. Although, I'd still wager some will still claim it is..ya know..because it's a quest....
🙄
Edit: We, as a community, need to stop this idea that PvE exists in Cyrodiil, or there's such a thing as a "Cyrodiil tourest". It's basically leading lambs to the slaughter. You are giving out the idea a player not ready for PvP can just safely walk into Cyrodiil...without any expactaion of getting killed or ganked.
Really needs to stop.
Be prepared when you hit that travel to Cyrodiil button. You are never safe.

😂 How did my thread turn into this. I simply wanted to say thank you to silence heros I saw in action. You know add something positive to all this.

@KelMy issue isnt with you trying to turn a positive light on the event, or thank anyone...its the notion that somehow PvE is in a PvP zone. Saying things like that is exactly why we're hearing "I was forced to go into Cyrodiil" or "I was on a PvE quest in Cyrodiil, I shouldn't be killed".
Just pointing out that there is no PvE in Cyrodiil...saying otherwise is a disservice to players who hear that thinking they'll be safe or don't deserve to have PvP happen in a PvP zone. Like I said, it's encouraging lambs into the lions jaws.
Your message, though while nice, is misleading.
Nothing wrong with being nice..we could use alot more of it. But....nice still doesn't change reality.

To quote myself from another thread on the same topic:
"The part you are missing is where players were camping spawn points inside the quest pickup/dropoff buildings.
You zone into the building and you are dead on arrival.
No way to fight back, no ganking, nothing, just a loading screen and then dead.
Basically the same mechanic that the resource towers used to have when they still had doors.
There is a reason why ZOS removed those doors from the towers.
I'm sorry but that has nothing to do with PvP, it's a stupid mechanic that needs to go ..."
I still stand firmly behind this, camping a spawn point and have people come out of a loading screen into a death recap has absolutely *nothing* to do with PvP vs PvE and has everything to do with a broken mechanic that needs to go.

This doesn't address the issue @Kel is trying to address.
To call Cyrodiil anything other than a pvp zone is misleading and is a disservice to players. There are no tourists or free passes. It's up to a player's discretion if they want to let another player live or not.

Resource tower farms had proper counterplay, though -- you could raze the tower. Town building farms are worse, there's no way around the door.

Actually, it's Kel (and you) who don't address the issue raised by the OP in this thread:
"ZOS please fix the door and load screen ganking before week 5"
You can make excuses for your spawn camping all day if that makes you feel any better. It's still a broken mechanic though ...

In this event I have seen a lot of people that camped near cities in order to get easy kills and ap, well , I respected those people since they were good pvp players but now I know how they actually are.

2. Those questers that PM-ed me they are just Questers were spotted latter on flipping flags - well that is not a quest objective...it is a PvP objective.
