Hello.^^

Question in title, I am asking because I have quite a lot of ingame gold saved up and I am thinking about buying crown store items with that gold.

However, I've heard a lot about people getting scammed in such trades, so I am wondering if ZOS actually guarantees safety in such a situation?

Not that i heard of. If you get scammed you are pretty much on your own. It's the same with someone robbing your guildbank, ZOS doesn't care. "It's part of the game"

The player market in The Elder Scrolls Online is a "buyer beware" market, and we are unable to provide any compensation or reimbursement for a trade or mail scam that occurred in-game. You can report scammers in game by following the directions in the help article below.
