What you questers are going through is what EVERYONE goes through when they first enter Cyro. It’s why seasoned PvPers have so little sympathy for questers.

We're not going to learn PVP'ing in a week... nor do we have the skills for it, nor do we have the better alliance skill tree which is an advantage. Plus, even a regular PVP'er can take out several PVE'ers in one go. There are so many reasons why it simply doesn't work. Why not just leave them be, get their quests done, and be on their way? It's not even PVP as the other player isn't fighting - it's relentless slaughtering. If you say fight back... well.. getting hit twice and you're dead doesn't leave a lot of time to do much.

When you go to a trial, first you prepare and work to be able to finish it. It is the same with pvp. I know that you would like to have it easy - to get your rewards handed over with a kiss to your palm. But that is not how the world works. Why should you get for free that which others have to work hard to get?

why cant I get them as PVP
seriously u cant prepare for trials in a week. You know I have been searching for a guild for more than 3 months now.
So GL
the so called whinners
You’re mad because I enjoy farming you and you keep crying about it therefore you resort to personal insults because I’ve made over 4 mil AP this event farming people like you.
Sounds like you’re upset 🙂. I’m happy however, I think I’m going to buy purple jewlery with all this nice AP so I can deconstruct it and sell the purple platings to people like you so I make even more gold. Enjoy being farmed this event. PS. Welcome to cyrodiil.

Finding not one but three pve guilds to do progressive trials with, took me not 3 months but 3 minutes. There is a thread for that. As for preparation time, we had much much more than a week. You can do it within a single evening.
All you had to do was:
1. Watch a YouTube video.
2. Queue for a vet dungeon that drops the head piece of monster set of your choice (Pirate Skeleton gives the best defense fyi)
3. Get crafting materials if you don't have them. Buying them is the fastes and quite cheap unless you wan't everything golded out.
4. Ask in your carebear guild to have it crafted or craft it yourself.
5. Analyze a 10 minute YouTube video on how a 1vXer is able to 1vX.
6. Practice your kill combo on a dummy.
Thats it! You are ready enough. The rest is just getting the experience in actual fights. You won't be plowing through elite players but you will have more than a fighting chance against mediocre PvPers who load camp people.
And all of that with less hassle than making a pve build for vet trial and practicing a rotation.
How do I know? Because I have done both of these.
