Sorry, but I don't recognize these cowards as "us" PvPers. They are sad little trolls who run from a fair fight like a bat out of hell. That's why they have to pick on the weak in the first place. Because real PvPers would chew them up and spit them out.

Not sure just having quests in Cyrodiil automatically means its PvE content.
After all, you get PvP currency for doing it. Doesn't that logically mean those quests are actually for PvP'ers?
Quests are not PvE by default, and the reasoning that its PvE content just solely based on it being a quest is inherently wrong.
Quest in a PvP zone that awards a PvP currency...logic dictates that it's a quest for PvP players.
But by all means, let's not let reasoning and logic dissuade any arguments on the contrary....🙄Not sure just having quests in Cyrodiil automatically means its PvE content.

I would happily not get the crappy 200 AP from turning those in if it meant I couldn’t attack other players and they couldn’t attack me in areas that for all intent and purpose, just based on the story, should be relatively neutral zones.
The war of “if you’re in a PvP zone be ready to die” has been going since launch and sounds the same as it always has. I only go to Cyro for events, and occasional guild activity. During events, it’s to get quest rewards. During guild activities, it’s to die horrible deaths at the hands of people that know what they’re doing. On the one hand, I’m questing, and geared to kill npcs, on the other, I’m taking objectives and trying to occupy an opponent long enough for my pvp guildmates to kill them. Just because it’s a PvP zone, doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t be able to do both activities. The problem is that when I’m trying to do the former, people with nothing better to do, hide near quest givers and kill me without me having a chance to fight back. During this event, it’s been small groups of 3 to 5 players that rather than go take a keep, would rather just farm people questing.
So, is ZoS promoting toxic behavior, yes. It keeps a lot of people who might otherwise enjoy Cyrodiil away from the zone because there is nothing to be gained from those long rides to a skyshard just to be murdered before you can finish soaking it in. Oh, and to the idiot that said to make room for pvpers, maybe you should go check out the faction lock threads where people are bitching about underpopulated/dead campaigns. Rather than just gank every PvEer trying to do quests, you encourage us to participate so maybe we invest in making PvP characters, getting good, and giving good fights.
By their actions though, it seems most PvPers really just want easy kills that will inflate their stats and make them feel better about themselves, which really, there are more wholesome ways to get that.

lol OP is so funny
No what's funny is these so-called "PvPers" suck so much they have to gather in massive numbers and pick on lone players just trying to do quests. That's what is really funny here. And their attempts to defend it by claiming it's fair because it's a pvp zone is so laughably stupid you would have to have some kind of a __________ to actually believe it.
I say let's turn the tables and give these "PvErs" who are just trying to do quests massive buffs to where they are like one-man zergs. Then we can all have a good laugh while the so-called "PvPers" come here complaining about how unfair it is. The hypocrisy and amusement of watching them have to deal with their own medicine would be delicious.
It is also absolutely amazing to me to watch the same crowd that whines on a daily basis about "balance" and how even the slightest advantage in PvP means OMG THIS IS OVERPOWERED NERF IT NOW defend this practice of converging massive numbers on lone individuals just trying to do quests. Yeah... that is real balanced let me tell you. Just one more piece of evidence that they really don't give two _____ about "balance". They just want to be able to kill other people.

Real PvPers fight other PvPers. They like a challenge, They like an actual fight. They don't stalk towns in massive zergs or camp inside houses so they can slaughter defenseless questers who die in less than a second.
What I am describing here is not "PvP". It's pathetic bullying and trolling. End of story. And going "Awwwwww" doesn't change that. These people need to grow a spine and go fight people who can actually fight back instead of cowardly picking on the weak for their own sick amusement.
And what's a matter anyway? I thought "PvPers" liked "balance" so damn much? Doesn't look like it now does it...
They only like "balance" when it favors them - otherwise they could care less about it. If this event has proved anything, it's proven that. So I don't ever want to see another one of these stupid "NERF" threads again.
You become a PvP'er the minute you set foot in Cyrodiil.

Yeah...that's the point of PvP alright.
Easy to not let it bother you ....don't queue for Cyrodiil.

No it's not. The Point of PvP is to have fun. That is kinda the point of video games in general. And if slaughtering defenseless PvEers who are trying to quest is fun for someone - then that someone has issues. Because it's not fun. It's boring as hell and no real PvPer is going to enjoy such a one-sided and dumb contest.
The whole reason real PvPers like PvP is because of the extra challenge it brings to fight another real-life person who can think, adapt, and strategzie. It's not so they can mass in huge numbers and slaughter lone individuals trying to quest or ambush them when zoning into a house. That's not player vs player combat. That's trolling.
And if me mocking people who play that way bothers you - then don't read my comments. Issue solved. Because I am going to continue to mock and deride people who play this way because they so richly deserve my contempt.

To be honest, that is the case. Cause I never (or at least very rarely) ever saw this kind of behavior before this event started happening. It certainly wasn't nearly as common as it now. That I can tell you.
This event is attracting a lot of trolls who like to fancy themselves as "PvPers" when in reality they are just flattering themselves.

This thread is completely insane and is a sad indictment of modern "gamers."
I hate world bosses, delves, and PVE in general, so I skipped the world boss event week -- which was fine because It wasn't there for me.
If you want to be safe from PVP, then don't go to a PVP zone -- which is fine because this part of the event isn't here for you.

I first set foot in Vivec at level 10, 1 bar didn’t know what a 5 piece set was, much less a monster head. Nobody cut me any breaks and I didn’t ask for any. I damn sure never cried. I made it my business to get to the point I could KILL these fools.
I try to kill whatever dummy shows up sporting the wrong color tag. Try delves. I unnastan those can be QUITE fun.

How many pvp'ers do the town daily quest? Those award event boxes just as the 'kill enemy player' and 'capture keep' quest do, but telling them that basically 'you aren't welcome here' isn't the way to make cyrodiil a better place to pvp.

And if me mocking people who play that way bothers you - then don't read my comments. Issue solved. Because I am going to continue to mock and deride people who play this way because they so richly deserve my contempt.
Oh..the point of PvP is to have fun?
Well, I'm having the most fun when I'm killing players.
Oh yes, it's just so much fun to slaughter defenseless people who are trying to quest 10 vs 1...
IF you find that fun then you just made my point for me. Thanks.

and when there is 50 of you pve'rs in a town, you would promise to never kill not one of us pvp'ers.
right?
Sorry, but I don't recognize these cowards as "us" PvPers. They are sad little trolls who run from a fair fight like a bat out of hell. That's why they have to pick on the weak in the first place. Because real PvPers would chew them up and spit them out.
that's foolishness, because if that were true, then the people you are referring to would only pvp once a year when these events take place.
To be honest, that is the case. Cause I never (or at least very rarely) ever saw this kind of behavior before this event started happening. It certainly wasn't nearly as common as it now. That I can tell you.
This event is attracting a lot of cowardly trolls who like to fancy themselves as "PvPers" when in reality they are just flattering themselves.
PC-NA Vivec pop locks every day outside of PvP events would like to have a word with you. Also every major PvP guild.
Any major PvP guild that spends their time camping houses to kill questers has some very serious problems.
They don't. In fact, they're vehemently against camping towns and will faction swap just so each alliance has a chance in those towns. The people who you're referencing to are toxic people and don't represent the entirety of PvP. This is the line of your logic
I know. That's what I have been saying. That's why I said they aren't real PvPers. These people are just trolls who are flattering themselves into pretending what they are doing is PvP.
You seem to be agreeing with me without realizing it.

my guild does that year round to everyone in cryodiil, we wait for zergs to come by and we run out and kill all of them.
this event is nothing new. just has more people in it.
we camp certain areas and we all huddle in a small corner and wait for a zerg to run by or come near.
then BAM we run out and a war starts.
they could easily just go to a lower populated server
they could also just change alliance to the one that owns that town.
there are all kinds of options they have.
including the option to not join an area that they know people are going to pvp them if they enter.

therefore go to BG so i won't see you while i farm quests in cyro!!
and by the way cyro should be not about killing players but about killing doors!!!
maybe we should add some raid bosses there and make it a no-pvp zone too?
lol OP is so funny
Awwwwwww
"They don't care about balance, they only care about killing players"
Yeah...that's the point of PvP alright.
Easy to not let it bother you ....don't queue for Cyrodiil.
Issue solved
No it's not. The Point of PvP is to have fun. That is kinda the point of video games in general. And if slaughtering defenseless PvEers who are trying to quest is fun for someone - then that someone has issues. Because it's not fun. It's boring as hell and no real PvPer is going to enjoy such a one-sided and dumb contest.

You're putting words in my mouth, proving me right about you being a toxic person ironically trying to call out toxic behavior.
Thanks.
