I must say I didn't have that much problems till last maintanance. It's fustrating because I really like the game and was looking forward to the new DLC etcetera. But now I am thinking of stopping :/

Well yes, it wasnt that bad of course. But dcs where usual at big sieges. There were times that people rushed to a keep that was already being sieged and u could see lots of players stopped at a certain spot, forming a line only cause they dc'ed.
I stopped playing too, i only came back to see whats up cause they said they were going to improve performance with the next expansion. But i lost faith again. Just plain words and false promises

Coming home after a long day, logging in to Cyro, stuttering all over the place without any skills firing when I want them... the ESO experience.

It's kinda satisfying that things are still exactly the same where I left them. ZOS is providing me with a true zen experience.

They need to change their code again, then the game would run fine.

It seems to be a bit better from the start of the event. Still a lot of lag when zergs are around and no 7 seconds immunity after break free from stun but no freezes or crashes today.

I have mostly avoided Cyro for the past few months. It's a shame, because back in the Trueflame days, I practically lived there... I miss the times when the PVP was fun, enjoyable, fresh. Now it's always lag and disconnects or [snip] just happened moments (and not the good [snip] moments that leave me laughing...)
Please ZOS, put more focus into fixing this awesome PVP content you made. We love it when it works. If you fix it, we will return <3

The mass lag is z fault, people blame it on servers its not, go look up how many ports the software needs open to work! Way more then any client Ive seen.
Luckily for you there is a fix but most people arint technical so dont know about networking.
Most network lag disappears by changing you connection to IPv6 which doesn't use a nat to route information, since every device has its own address. Cp pvp is screwed regardless too much data transferred its impossible to transfer all that to players far apart due to laws of physics, they seemed to have ignored that.

It isn't Vivec, its every server pop locked. ZOS has done as much as they can, players instead of utilizing 100% of the map, fight in 5-10% of the map, faction lock pop fights at one keep, thus the server crashes or can't sustain it. If battles were spread it may be better. I for one don't play Cyrodiil around 2:30PM - 7:30PM PST because of this haha.

Your packets go through Akami's DDOS protection server before hitting ZOS's server, which adds what seems like another 100ms to our latency when we play. I am sure ZOS and their shard system is to blame but yeah...we're all essentially playing ESO with a perma VPN but doesn't find the best route, it's a static route and usually increases latency. My average ping is around 150-170, and jumps to 299+ in cyrodiil. Just the way it is for now.

Yes it is vivc, the other campaigns has normal latancy, vivc overhelms clients with data, hence the log out issues, the data is a mess and the client tries to process it but its too much data to process in required time ending in your cpu not knowing what to do cause the dataset is a large mess so it just drops and logs u out

I'm saying ALL campaigns that were the priority over the last 5 years had the same issues.

Vivec is just one of many 30 days to have this issue.

Vivec came out when Morrowind did, the other campaigns barely have this issue because they lack population.... Sometimes Shor lags out to.

No the other campaigns dont transfer cp information which is alot of variables to expect clients to process in short amounts of time.
You dont seeem to understand the underlying data being transferred here, regarding overhead vivc has compared to the rest. They dont require as much data transfer so regardless of players dont end up failing. What you dont seen to get is vivc causes clients literally fail due to heavier data transfers, the others dont cause clients to fail even with large amounts of players.
Vivc issues isnt too many players, its too much data expected to be processed in little time

We know its a well known issue, but the CP 30 day campaigns have had this issue since CP came out.

In the VR days (you should know this) we just had high ping, no disconnects.

PvP is now and has been for some time what i call 'Freeze Fighting".... you play while always waiting for when your character freezes and you don't know if your going to be alive or dead after 8-12 seconds of not being able to do anything. so yeah freeze fighting
