You are correct, they are from two different classes. Yet, steak always work so do all the incoming dmg during streak, and streak is not sustainable in BY DARK DEAL IN BGs, also NBs have there own sustain ability to work with. All gap closer and stuns and range attacks effect you if you are streaking, also lets not forget how far streak was take you. Now you do'nt even have to use gap closers to catch streakers, you can just out run them. Streak is way weaker than it used to be.
well then we should change streak to make it more like cloak. remove stun and any damage associated with streak, make it less effective with aoes like caltrops
And don't forget.. make it unavailable when we drink streakdetection potions.
Why? We should have potions that nullify all shields man. Much better.٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶

Barbaran✭✭✭✭Cloak is useless if you play against half competent players.
Try being a NB fighting out numberd. As long as ONE of the guys has half a brain, all it takes is a quick AoE to pull the NB outta cloak.
Against 4+ guys, there's always a magelight, detec pot, or AoE flying around, at that point cloak is only good for the 7 second armour buff4 -

They don't seem to realize that for every class that ZOS nerfs, another is over-buffed... there's just going to be a new OP class and they'll start whining about that.
The problem isn't about classes "overperforming", it's about ZOS's apparent inability to balance classes properly.
They took away a lot of things that made NBs, well... NBs. At this point we're basically yelling to people that we're going to snipe them. And as someone who mains a Bosmer stamblade...double ouch.
I'm not going to stop playing my Bosmer stamblade because she's my favorite and I find NB to be the most fun class to play in PvE. That'll probably still be true, but they've just gutted both my preferred race AND my preferred class and it makes me really sad.6 -

When You fight outnumbered and Your enemies have half of a brain then You'll most propably fail to survive on any setup that isnt pure tank.4 -

Yea but at that point they can just shuffle roll dodge and sprint away,cloak do nothing in that scenario.
Also incap lost the major defile so that build might be dead next patch or not that great anymore if even is played outside of ganking zergling.
Edit:The only build i recall that was close or the same was a guy with viper or sload with skoria
And most likely master dagger and bow.

The best nightblades I know dont use cloak lol. I'm dying over here 😂🤭 a 25% cost increase would be acceptable0 -

The ability to escape a fight is not nothing as you're trying to express and maybe you should also mention that cloak is suppressing DoTs while you are still able to heal up.
They should increase the base cost of Shadow Cloak and reduce it's cost for each piece of light armor worn. (https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/469406/increase-base-cost-of-shadow-cloak-then-reduce-cost-for-each-piece-of-light-armor-worn#latest)
