Because of the PC-EU Server Update - April 11 Queuing System that's now in place you won't need to spend any money upgrading/replacing the PC EU Server Hardware. The 'spike' in user activity that you claim to have had in March will quickly be moving onto other games.
So just sit back and wait! Save your mountains of cash! Keep working on those engine optimizations, boosts to performance and tweaks to the service that we've been waiting for since the game launched. And we'll see you in 2020 when there's another yearly apology post due.
Cheers from everyone on PC EU!

Nearly every forum has a "no duplicate posts" rule, as it just clutters things up. I'd also say the big stickied post is evidence they're not downplaying it. When they have an update, they'll provide it. Until then, it's logistics. I.e. time to wait.
That said, even if they were downplaying it and "silencing the people," they have every right to do so on their forums. Or would you like to stand in the middle of a store, insult and berate its employees and manager, call for firings and threaten legal action, and see how quickly security arrived to ask you to leave?
Seriously, just because the medium's digital doesn't mean things like etiquette and common decency fly out the window.
For long-term players, it has been 2-3 years waiting already.Until then, it's logistics. I.e. time to wait.
true, no need to upgrade servers, just wait for ppl to stop playing , you will earn more profits thats for sure

What exactly do you expect them to do? Drop everything they are doing just so YOU don't have to sit in a queue?
It takes time to upgrade hardware, it takes time to migrate server resources, it takes time to integrate other resources to an existing server infrastructure. it is not just clicking a few buttons, and 20 minutes later, BAM capacity NOW able to handle 100% more players!
You've never worked with Vsphere, Windows server, SQL databases, never had to program a switch, routers, merg/import data/settings/files to new systems before. A million things can go wrong, and it requires a lot of testing after it is done before it can be pushed into a live environment.
Because what happens if they upgrade, and then BAM...NO ONE in the EU can log in....now you're in an even WORSE position than before....
They already said they plan on upgrades, I imagine people are already working on it (backing up systems, ordering parts, scheduling outside contractors for assistance, etc.) At least you can sit in your house for 30 minutes, then still log in and play.
Some people don't even have a house to even sit in during their free time. Be mad all you want, in fact...just uninstall and quit the game already. I will gladly dump whatever money you WOULD have spent, back into the game on top of what I already dump, just to compensate ZOS for you quitting.
Please, quit.
