Major Fracture / Surprise Attack

I'm absolutely OK with the changes to Nightblades' Surprise Attack. Having Defile and Fracture attached to Incap and Surprise Attack, skills you are going to use anyway in any build, didn't make much sense. It was just a "free gift" to the Nightblade Toolkit. Now things are in an healthier state: if you want these debuffs, you will have to build for them in some way, making room on your skill bar or in your sets in order to earn them.

That said, I would like to know if there are plans about removing the same debuff from SubAssault, which should deserve the same treatment imho. This is a skill that any StamWarden is going to use anyway, in any build. Having Major Fracture / Major Breach attached to this skill it's just a "free gift" to the Wardens, creating an inconsistent approach comparing the two classes (we could say the same thing regarding minor berserk, comparing again nightblades vs wardens).

p.s. I have both a Stamina Nightblade and a Stamina Warden, wich is my PvP main at the moment, so I would be affected myself from this nerf. It's just that I would like to see some coherence in the way the class are treated compared to each other.

Stamwarden has both Beserk and Fracture which doesn't make any sense. I love my sWarden... but really?

They should revert everything they made in last 3 patches and make SEPARATE balance for PvP and PvE, usin skill tooltips.

Example: in PvP ares Surprise Attack tooltip doesnt have Fracture, in PvE areas it has. Thats it. And this can be applied to everything in this game separating all PvE from PvP. The best solution imho.

I think FFXIV does something like this. Seems to work well.

Without the fracture to surprise attack, would you be better using Crushing Weapon? That’s kind of a problem. You just make the class feel generic and only using it because class execute.

we have asked for a Separation for years now...did it happen? NO!
will it happen? ... to 99,99% NO!

ZOS once stated they dont want to balance it separately, and thats how they roll now...adjust or play something else.

Take a look at Elemental Drain first if you want to nerf other sources of fracture/breach

Edit: Or we can just stop overnerfing everything and pissing off everybody, how about that? Who thinks that the game will be more enjoyable in the end when everything what happens are only nerfs?

I used to think that PvP was a tragedy, but now I realize, it's a comedy.

I don't want to nerf other sources of fracture / breach.

I'm just saying that these things were stolen from nightblade's toolkit, and for good reasons. I'm ok with the change, it was just too much.

That said, looks like the same good reasons are not valid for the Stamina Warden.

The Berserk nerf is fine. The Fear change is fine. The Cloak change is fine. The Surprise Attack nerf isn't.

Thus ALL dd builds should not have that debuff, if NBs dont have it will be fair to delete it from all dd builds/classes

It's ok to have sources of this debuff. It's not ok to have it tied "for free" to the main damage skill you are going to use in any case / any scenario (which is exactly the same condition for Stamblade' Surprise Attack and Stamden / Subterranean Assault).

Were you complaining when stamblades had it but stamplars and stamsorcs didn't? If not, stop crying and deal with it.
