Sets redesign - disappointed

The redesigned sets are basically still the same...kinda disappointed...wad hoping for more...

Even worse actually. Withered Hand... Was about to be super sad that I deconstructed that set like a week ago, but it literally is worse proc activation and less useful for a healer or tank viability now.

Was hoping for an arena weapons pass, one piece bonuses for VMA and DSA items?

I'm excited for necromancer but the necromancer 'themed' sets that were revisited are still the same, a bit rather boring.

The newer ones are meh, the new max magic set (lame idea but okay) I'm not so sure about since daedric prey was hit, so I'd rather play with something else.

The new trial sets are okay, but won't make it onto my current toons.

I'm interested in seeing the proc for coldharbours favorite, I might put it on my petsorc healer.

I'm honestly quite happy with this patch in general, the sets is the only thing I'm bumbed out with.

Maybe they will continue to make some more adjustments, fingers crossed.

Yeah shield breaker needs more damage against shields:)

I'm happy with the Leeching Plate buff. I'll have to see essence thief in action to see if it's viable for any purpose now. Depends on how much running around you need to do to pick up those essences. Many of the other changes feel underwhelming.

It's only a small amount, you can do better with a dozen points into shattering blows. Then run a stamina set that doesn't scream "potato".

new shieldbreaker is trash. Old one was a very effective counter to shield users of any kind, including stamDks(hardened armor and igneous shield) and stamdens (shimmering shield) procced it.

It was always a bandaid solution to the shieldstacking problem so I'm glad its changed to be more healthy.

Emergency edit: I disagree with OP. There are some set redesigns that I'm interested in, like the essence thief. My only disappointment is no 1 piece bonuses on master and maelstrom weapons.

Essence Thief is still booty.

The essence spawns closer to the target now but it can still go in any direction so it would have you running all of the place. Really just can't see it being useful anywhere except *maybe* vMA/vDSA/vBRP, but even that seems unlikely.

Yeah kinda sad no real nerco themed sets. Maybe even coldharbor favorite having zombie horse would of been nice.

we need an alternative to fight against shield stacking sorcerers.
the shield breaker set was working to help widdle down shields being stacked by sorcerers, since it has been destroyed as such, we now need a new alternative.
