Discussion: How do you feel about paying for NOT playing the game ? -> skyshard unlocks in CS

Yet, this argument is applicable to all content ESO offers - a given number of players will find questing and/or PVEing and/or PVPing boring and will like to skip these contents on alts -> without refraining from getting the rewards (ofc).

And thats the point when I think: Rather take the time and gather those stupid shards then allow CS-trial unlocks, CS-dungeon-unlocks or CS-PVP-rank unlocks ... all of these are just the same as CS-skyshard unlocks: crown store based ways to pay for skipping content and yet getting rewarded.

Imo in the long run the option to buy rewards without taking part in the content will be really bad for this games health.

It’s quite simple really. This game caters to all sorts of mmo players. I pve only to PvP. You can pretty much solo vet dungeons some DLC content excluded and I just don’t find pve all that engaging.

I love to PvP. I also love to use my time wisely. I’m not paying to not play the game I’m paying to play the way I want to. Try not to be so obtuse. You may love to run through every instance on all 12 char slots but what about some of us that play in lowbie PvP and CP PvP. Iv probably created in excess of 50+ chars so I can play in lowbie etc.

Iv played since beta and Iv been subbed pretty much the whole time. I will continue to play for years to come unless the servers get worse but that’s another discussion all together.

I think it is fun because a lot of the places where skyshards are found I don't get to very often. Free? No. Gold? No. Crowns? I am warming to the idea, if they price it high enough so that I won't want to spend that much.

An amount of gold along with crowns would be fine, but it should most definitely not be free.

I think it should definitely not be per character and should be account wide instead. It's going to be way too expensive to buy skyshards for 14+ characters.
