Murkmire has been awesome

I was doing Murkmire with my main because I was there just some hours when released and then left. And now Im completing little things with my main that I left behind.
I thought this was gonna be the worst dlc to me and hey...maybe it has been the best. It has been wonderful regarding story/graphics/style...

I would have never imagined I would like a swamp based dlc. I always saw black marsh like ughhh...

Fantastic dlc. And please ZOS update textures and graphics on old areas because to compare the new dlcs with those is getting even annoying.

Hmm i might venture there someday then. I have not set foot in that Argonian filled swamp yet. I might do some question this weekend there (depending on the weather)

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Murkmire so far was the most immersive DLC with the best story and lore. It looked wierd and at the same time so authentic.
It almost reminds me TES 3 Morrowind, that people were prasing this game for creating unique, alien world full of giant mushrooms and at the same time making it authentic and work. Murkmire did something similar and sucseded.

its very good, I delayed quire a bit myself because of guild activities
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Yay! It's awesome to read some Murkmire love <3 It's my favorite zone and storyline in the game. ZOS made me fall head-over-heels in love with Argonian culture. The zone is beautifully designed. There's so much detail in the architecture, in the flora. The NPCs are a ton of fun, and the soundtrack... it's tranquil and mysterious.

It's like in every DLC, the storytelling is improving. I hope Elsweyr will not disappoint.

Same. I enjoyed Murkmire more than Summerset, Vardenfell and Wrothgar. Murkmire does not suffer from frustrating cliff-blocking navigation nor is it populated by pompous Altmer or Dunmer. I found Murkmire to be immersive, mysterious and very fun.

I really loved Murkmire also. The last part of the main quest where you go through the caves is amazing. Such a detailed zone. Done really well.

Furnishing plans from Murkmire are awesome, some nice sets and motifs, not bady story line, maybe too many monster spawns on the swaps, but overall it's worth the price unlike most of the DLCs.

I agree. Initially I thought it was just a throwaway dlc with reused assets and little to no effort put into it.
Boy was I wrong. Orsinium and Murkmire are my favourite DLCs so far. Who gives a rat's ass about daedric war, how Mephala uses her 8 hands\legs in the bedroom, and how Vivec got impregnated.
Murkmire is very personal and inspiring story, about struggles, acceptance and ability to move on. It's been a pure joy to go through the quests this zone has to offer and I wish that developers would make more stuff like this.

I don't like Blackrock prison, but that's the gameplay issue, has nothing to do with the story. Otherwise it's all really good.
Profanity filter is a crime against the freedom of speech. Also gags.

I've do it few day ago and was really happy to follow the story too.

    Not like clockwork.
Was keeping it for the end cuz I really like Sotha Sil and Dwemer content, but was fairly disappointed than we learn nothing useful about Dwemer or Sotha lore..
The aera and monster look awesome at least, still a good point.

    Edit :
I've saw some Elsweyr picture, it look awesome too. Hope the story is gonna catch me.
    We've 3 *** badass dragon, don't waste the story potential ZoS !

Murkmire was a revelation to me. I don't like Argonian. I especially hate their synthesized voice. I don't like the swamp. I especially hate the giant exploding pregnant mosquitoes, sends terror into my soul, every time. But by Azura, it is my most favourite DLC and favourite storyline and favourite NPC characters. Towards the end of the quest, there was a hollow empty feeling inside my heart. I did not want it to end. I wanted to hang out further with Xukas. My heart broke to pieces for the egg-keeper lady. Well done, ZOS!

PS: I never cared for the other DLCs. In fact, I find them such a bore, I couldn't finish any of them. The main characters are usually annoying AF that if I could, I would stab them in the face myself. Save them from their misery aka themselves.

Agree on 2 specific point :
    - Xukas was amazingly designed and I love him !
    - I wanna burn to death every single of these horrible mosquitoes..

That's not generally how eggs work once laid. But maybe they do because of the Hist.
