Its called sampling

I'm not a trained statistician.
However, I've built enough data reports over the years to know that any report simply paints one picture. it's only ever accurate to those using it to support an argument.
Why don't you run a poll on getting 10M gold on your first character, using the 'what the player wants' modelling?
I have two accounts. Why can't my chars on the second account get all my first-account achievements too?
a single-question sample is somewhat biased. And lame.
It'd be odd for a person who just washed up from Cold Harbour be considered a Silencer or Master Thief without the credentials other than "I knew/am somehow related to a guy!"
Edit: It's odd enough there are characters lower than level 10 waltzing around in Emperor's Regalia.

VaranisArano Why not on those? When you have a new character and someone asks "link your achievement" then you can't do it even though you have the knowledge and skill. You get the rewards on all characters for the challenger achievement anyway.
My preferred solution would be a global achievement system that keeps tracks of local achievements. You got an achievement on character X but not on character Y, though you can still see and link your achievements from character X on character Y.
It would also help with the achievement furniture vendor as it is quite bothersome to keep switching characters just to get to buy all that you are entitled to buy.

I would definitely say so as well!VaranisArano wrote: »Hence why I argue that achievements should be per character when it matters which character you did the achievement on
Agreed.VaranisArano wrote: »I'd be fine with the achievement vendor unlocking account-wide as those are very similar to the cosmetics and collectibles we already unlock as achievement awards, and houses are account wide anyway.

Achievement gained as tank does not have the same meaning as dd.
