New pvp server and new pvp achievements

First off I want to say I have been playing the game virtually every day for the past 5 years. I’m a dedicated pvp player and solo for the most part. I have achieved 5 stars and emperor and every other pvp achievement in the game. Pve has no appeal to me whatsoever ever. Nothing gives me a thrill more in this game than the hunt for other players demise. However that bloodthirsty feeling is wavering more and more.

I would love to see the creation of an entirely separate pvp experience. A new server with new objectives and new rewards. The only thing that comes to mind is a giant free for all pvp server map. Perhaps some daedric realm could be the focus. And instead of emperor you fight to become the daedric princes champion. I would propose a 4 man group limit size at most to enable tanks and healers to still be viable in this realm. And I would also propose a random spawn location generator so as to not enable people to spawn camp. I would also propose that crouch sneaking be disabled in this realm since this kind of small group play would be a nightblade dream. Invisible pots and cloak would still be a thing of course. I think maybe placing some really difficult world bosses around the zone that hunt players would also be an interesting change. It’s a daedric realm afterall. These monsters would be killable by very skilled players in a solo encounter or small groups just like the roaming bosses of ICP.

Now I know there will be tons of opposition from the pve community but this is aimed for more of the hardcore dedicated pvp players out there who may be getting bored of Cyrodiil and even battlegrounds. While Cyrodiil rewards group play this server would definitely be more single player friendly. Taking smaller keeps that you could defend and earn bonus points to your score could also be included. Imagine 4 friends fending off 2-3 small groups trying to get your tower. They could add traps and keep upgrades you buy with the new battle currency. Maybe spike traps that slow and cause bleeding. Sentry type counter seige that allows you to fight while the auto turrents target your attackers.

    This game caters more to the pve crowd IMO but your ideas are solid. I've always felt it was a mistake to let people do all the quests from other factions on one character ( since guards don't attack ) and have every zone outside Cyrodill be safe from pvp. A safe/contested zone system similar to WoW would have have fit better IMO. Right now the factions mean pretty much nothing, there's no real faction identity/pride.

    What would be the diference between this and battlegrounds cause battlegrounds are exactly that: small groups of 4 fighting 1 or 2 other small groups

    The difference is this would be a full scale map and there would be multiple small groups trying to become the champion. Not some small 12 minute match. The server could even reset daily since it’s a free for all server thus allowing great chances to become the champion

    When I played other MMOs (e.g. WoW, Rift, AoC, Warhammer AoR - to name a few) I always chose PvP servers because they have always provided me with the best gaming experience and I was gutted that ESO didn't provide one.

    Yes, questing was dangerous and brutal at times however that's what I enjoyed - that sense of danger. It always made me a better and more rounded player and I enjoyed nothing more than roaming about knowing that I could be attacked at any moment by someone from an opposing faction (it's not as if enemy monsters pose much of a challenge).

    If you where getting ganked or attacked, you could do a zone shout out and you would have allies with u in no time to help out if required.

    On a PvP server alliances and allegiances mean something and being honest, I would love a PvP server to be released because I would transfer to it in a heart beat (and so would my guild mates as it is something we have spoken about at length).

    I only do pve. Why would I have any opposition? Take your pvp wherever, doesn't affect me. In fact, if this game worked the way WoW and RIFT did, I wouldn't have any objection. As long as I don't flag, and don't wander into an area where auto-flag can happen, it's not skin off my nose.

    Just remove pvp from dis game and make it a new standalone one. Pvp in dis game is cancer too much of cheese and exploits.

    By new server I can only assume you mean a new zone as it should be pretty clear Zos is not going to open an entire new server (which would actually mean 3, 1 for each platform).

    For a Zone it is almost as low of a chance. It is clear Zos has had problems monetizing PvP which is why BGs were moved to the base game. If they cannot monetize it then there is not incentive for them to add more zones.

    Further that OP is actually talking about another PvP/PvE zone. IC failed so why add another one. Making to FFA is not going to make a difference. The only FFA games I have seen where is quasi worked were actual PvP games and this is not that type of game. The only people who would actually enjoy it are those that would get eaten alive in a real PvP that was FFA.

    So besides the business incentive not being there, if you want a PvP FFA experience I suggest a real PvP game that is FFA.

    Are there not enough PvP ghost servers littering the gaming universe already???

    Usually any game that has both PvE and PvP server sooner or later only has PvE ones, as everyone leaves the PvP to actually enjoy the game, and ESO already has one of these ghost zones (which everyone tries to revive every few years) but it does not seem to affect those that seem always doomed to repeat history rather than learning from it.

    I'd take a seamless, open-world Tamriel with a PvP megaserver.

    No more bloody loadscreens.
