They don't even ask you why. Sad.

Is there even an actual feedback section? If so, I don't see it. I would have liked to let them know the things I found unacceptable in the game, even if they never do anything about them.

don't bother, they'll just lock it for not being constructive, only positive critism will stay open. but god forbid you post the reason why you canceled you subscription, you'll become an insta target of the forum gestapo known as the "social" team.

Now that's one serious problem there OP, not being able to give a feedback.

There is if you open a ticket. Mine is only for invisible bankers for one char in one bank, but I told them what they should be listening to from the forums anyway >:)
If at first you don't succeed, keep trying. And again. Eat a cookie, read a wiki, I dunno, just try to relax, the frustration will only give you a headache.

I remember making the peon cry in WoW oh so many years ago
And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

I couldn't care less what fanbois say. They said the same exact things in SWTOR and look what that got them.

I am just surprised is all, other games ask you or at least give you the option.

So, no official feedback then at all? Kind of amazing.

I might resub later, but it will depend on what game mechanic improvements they make and if they start taking more time to communicate honestly with the playerbase.

    There's the /feedback command.
If you will, they are not interested only in the oppinion of those that are leaving but they want to know the oppinion of everyone - even those that are currently playing and paying.
Besides, that one is way more important. If you are quitting you won't be paying, however the oppinion of those that do matter and will continue to matter. And please let's be serious - 'I would pay if...' and 'I won't pay if you don't...' never worked and is a childish way to try to pressure a company.

when you submit a bug you get an email asking how your customer support was via a survey link :D Super fun, highly recommended.

It's not childish, lol. It's a fact life. Just like the junker that was SWTOR, people leave if the game isn't up to standards.

Believe me Zamiel... money is the ONLY way they get the message.

The feedback option is in-game or by opening a ticket. They do not have a feedback forum section as we're speaking but I'm sure there will be in the future.

This game isn't going to last the 7 months TOR did before it goes F2P.

Remember that you will quite often only see posts from people who are upset about the game so you can't really take all the bad feedback on these boards as "this game has failed" the majority of happy players will just be playing and not spending time on the forums.
Also most often you will find players who are complaining or being critical about a game are the ones who have a passion for it, those who really don't care wont take the time to post or rant on the forums, they just go and don't care.

As others have said there is a /feedback command and ZOS seem to be looking at some of the threads coming up on the forums and taking constructive and mature criticism and ideas well. I would personally like to see more GM/Dev representation on the forums maybe even sticky the "hot topics" and lock any duplicates with a redirection link to the main discussion for that issue.

Additionally to your point.. the VAST majority of players never come to the forums at all. If they get bored with the game or get too many issues with it, they just move on to something else, without ever posting in the forum.

I don't know the exact percent, but it's a huge percent. Maybe Zen could give us a percentage, cause they surely know.... doubt they will though.
