What ZOS has been unable to fix in 5 years?

    not really lags, but server quality overall, random disconnect in raids, skills doesn't cast in Cyrodiil etc..

    Double casting for targeted ground aoes.

    We can work around it, but it is just crap.

    Pve/pvp balance. I admire the dedication to their starting concept, but the approach is flawed.

    Logically, we can define balance as below:

    Skill = delivery system for buff/debuff (note damage is actually a health debuff). All buffs/debuffs require at least 1 counter.

    Class = predefined (conceptual) collection of skills.

    Design is done by ensuring pvp balance of skills by way of parity in skills for player classes.

    Then pve remains minimally affected. The problem is that classes from inception weren't designed this way, and established class staples, identity, etc are now tweaked to the point of negligence, or flattened completely. This is why we have the musical chairs dance every patch as we do.

    All of the above, especially balance. why the hell is caltrops still used on every single stam build? why is bow used on every stam build as well? its stupid and imbalanced.
    Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

    Jumping, its just is hard to control compared to TES games or most others :)
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    All of the above, but the lag, frequent disconnects and truly appalling loading screen times kill this game for me. I have zero problems with any other MMO, it's not my system or connections. ESO is deeply broken when it comes to the core game engine.

    Add onto this the long term bugs, the lack of quality control and polish, the perennially poor UI, the inadequate guild trader system, the train wreck that PvP has become and the utterly broken game balance due to a CP system long out of control ...

    So many other games do it better. I cancelled my ESO+ because I can't justify it anymore and since the game is unplayable without ESO+ (due to the inventory nightmare it causes if you don't have the double bank space and craft bag) I won't be playing or spending much. I don't expect Eseweyr will improve any of the problems, just add more. So I won't pre-order and will wait and see what unfolds.

    Well, they have fixed the entire game, multiple times.

    They have actually done a good job on everything but lag. Where they do improve lag, they let the people who don't like the remaining lag set the agenda. Most people are unaware that things have improved.

    Group Finder
    Of all the issues mentioned in the poll, the group finder may not be the most important. Certainly nearly every aspect of the game can be completed just fine without it. I find it so confusing that it's such a massive problem. Take 4 players from a queue and group them together (shouldn't be hard). Teleport those players into a specified dungeon or battleground (shouldn't be hard). Those things can be done manually (grouping and porting to dungeons at least). If their current system can't do this properly, it may be time to scrap the dungeon finder and rebuild it from the ground up.

    Lag and class balance are difficult problems to solve. Putting 4 people in a group and teleporting them to an instance is not.

    I would also add few other things but they did not last for years yet, like Amaya Lake Lodge missing RED MOUNTAIN for ~2years I think?
    Acrobatic running on the horse when riding on the horse (it was funny for a while but now it is annoying).
    Random kicks from the game.
    Mailboxes lagging behind with mails ...
    Monster shoulders looking weird on female characters (they are levitating on the shoulders instead of being on them).
    Plenty more, 2 tired to list.

    Double casting of ground based AoEs is from pressing the button twice.

    Indeed.

    I meant the bug where you have to, sometimes, intentionally cast it twice to get it to happen once -- :smiley:
