This event is the only way to get it and as time goes by the motif drop table will only get larger so the chance of drops will continually get smaller.
Never finished it last year and was kinda hoping I could do so this year.
No pieces so far though.......

✭This is discouraging. I also wanted to knock out worm cult style this year without having to spend too much through guild shops.
Feels like I will need to invest the gold I earn selling other motifs to purchase the worm cult stuff0 -

✭✭I'm doing 92 crafting writs per day and so far I got 3 Worm Cult motif chapters since the event's start.
It looks like the Worm Cult's drop rate is way lower than last year's drop rate.Some videos I recorded for fun: Main character:

✭✭✭✭The nice thing is the price will come down on them, as it will on all the other motifs that can drop from this event, because hundreds of other people will be getting them as the weeks go by and it'll cause the prices to go lower and lower as everyone tries to sell their stuff. So if you can get a few higher-priced motifs you already know to sell before their prices tank some, at the end of the event you'll probably be able to easily buy whatever chapters you still need.PC-NA | Been around since closed beta

I very badly injured my hand last year and was only able to do the crafting dailies for the first and last few days of the anniversary event. But I got the whole style plus leftovers.
Drop rate this year appears to be much lower.
Maybe with necromancer coming soon, they figure full on necro types will reeeeeeeally want their necro characters to have that style, and are driving the price up.0 -

I'm glad I already finished the motif last year.
This year we have specific event boxes for each activity (Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box (Crafting) for example) instead of just generic boxes for everything.
Maybe each type of box has different drop rates for event-specific stuff like the Worm Cult motif. Easy dailies like crafting writs could have very low drop rates and harder or more time-consuming ones like dungeons, trials or PvP have higher drop rates.
Guess we'll find out in a few weeks.
