Only do daillies when I feel like to and its only the pledges. Same goes for event daily quests, don't do them everyday only if there is something I really want otherwise it's too boring.
I firstly do the stuff I find fun, pvp, dungeons or even exploring and the consider if I should do some daillies lol
Not really, I am currently dialling back play time as I plan to binge like crazy after the Necromancer is out. So it's mostly log in, do things required and log out at the moment.

I do crafting dailies most days - hubby and I run the guildhouse for one of our guilds, so we are currently working on getting all crafting set stations. 1st week of event won't change much for us as we do them anyway (thanks Lazy Writ Crafter!). My main knows most motifs, so I often get to make quite a bit of cash selling the extras, so for me, those are also worth working for. Some days I will likely do less, others more. I want and will use all the indriks - I love indriks - so getting tickets will be a no-brainer and this time easier than ever.
When my interest wanes a little, the events give me something to do.
RIP Atherton, my beautiful little gentle friend, my Shining Light. I will miss you forever. Without you I am a hollow shell.
Not much time left, after getting event tickets and rewars, trying to gain some undaunted keys for the shoulder of the month and veteran dungeon to try getting the mask outfit, sometimes BG to get the styles from there...
Usually after even dailies I just went to pvp. But recently I don't have time for that because I have to level Undaunted on several new characers that I have created for pvp. And the less I play the pvp, and the more bored I am with grind, the less I want to play pvp. Yesterday I had to force myself to play it just to see if it is going to be enjoyable.
Fortunately Battlegrounds were fun. I had quite an enjoyable duel with my magplar against a magdk. No matter what he tried, he couldn't kill me. I just stood in my circle of happiness and kept countering his every move without even blocking. When he finally realised that he can't kill me, he just run away with his defensive ultimate on.
Oh my... I've misvoted. Read my vote as "Yes, I usually don't want to play the game after dailies."
It happens all the time. Dailies in ESO somehow make me really tired off the game. And ZOS are making more and more of those. Zone related dailies for motifs and so on, then it's DLC-prologue dailies, then crafting dailies with new precious master crafter writs, then this event tickets thing... It's like "hey, do you still wanna play our game? We've made another one anti-fun activity so you could get tired finally and quit at last."

One of the two of us definitely has gone mad. It only remains to define whether this one is the whole world or just me.

Sick&tired of being kicked off from your house when you complete a dungeon? ComingBackHome addon is what you need!
Me is russian little bad in english :b
Only dailes who is required for me is crafting on main and the event related ones for tickets. Ran the jester event 3 times a day used this to level up skills in plan to turn my Khajiit stamblade magic.
Else I did other stuff.
Granted the anniversary will change how i play a bit
During the week it would be "no, mostly not" unless you consider RP "playing the game". But it's mostly the festival dailies I do, no crafting writs or any of that nonsense that "keeps players occupied". I only do dailies if I want a certain cosmetic reward, not for gold. Sometimes I do the summerset world bosses for fun but not daily.
At the weekend I usually play a lot more, do dungeons or raids with the guild or more festival dailies on more chars (or levelling low levels). It will be a relief to have a month without an event, even though I don't mind getting mounts/pets/cosmetics for free. But after a while they start feeling like a chore.

So far the only "requirement" to do the dailies for tickets is self-imposed. So if I decide I'd rather play instead of doing the dailies, I do. If I want tickets/boxes/rewards, then I do, and keep playing afterwards because I'm playing for fun and enjoyment, not work.
Depends on how I feel that day. Sometimes there's another game I want to play. Sometimes I don't feel like gaming. Sometimes all I wanna do is eso.
With events in particular, I do my best to make things as far away from a chore as possible - so if I don't want to do something, I often just don't. Having said that I also realize that if I don't put in the time, I'm not going to get the rewards (which is entirely fair), so sometimes I do log in real quick because I want the rewards. But I don't have to. This is not a job.
Typical day under the week looks like this: log in with my alts and do the crafting writs. log in with my main, do the crafting writs, pick up todays pledges and checking my guild if there are people available. If not i queue in the dungeon finder and while waiting i go farm for mats. Once the pledges are done i will stick around a bit in carglorn and pug a trial if there is no trial in my main guild. log off and call it a day.
When i am really bored i will load up an alt and quest through the zones.
If I do different dailies every day, are they still dailies?
Sometimes all I want to do is do writs on multiple characters while I chat with guildies. Sometimes I want to work on a character to get through a couple of quest hubs. Sometimes I want to do pledges. Sometimes I just want to run a random normal. Sometimes there are guild events.
So outside of training riding skills on characters that need it, I don't do the same thing every day for long. Right now, the only "daily" that I'm staying on top of is the Sacrament because I want the achievement for killing all the targets.
Obviously, with the Jubilee event starting, I'm going to be doing different dailies each week, but if I get tired, I'll just do that cake for the tickets and do whatever I want, since it doesn't look like there are motifs in the boxes this year (styles don't really count for me).
For the Jester's Festival, I set up several characters on the weekend with completed quests and then just handed them in throughout the week. That was 5 minutes and then I went off to do something else. I could have gone super-slacker mode and just handed in one quest each day for the tickets.
But I'm ready to not have events after the Jubilee and we all about Elsweyr HYPE! for the rest of Q2 while I get some of the previous zones finished.
I hate these lame repetitive events, but the rewards are just too good so I do them. Afterwards I log off and think about uninstalling the game to be honest.
It has become too much mindless grinding like WoW was becoming for me 5 years ago and why I began looking for another game to play to begin with. I loved that ESO wasn't like that the first 3 or so years. Their events were such that whatever drops you wanted/needed were doable relatively easily and you could go back to your normal gameplay. Now I hardly just play anymore. It's not fun anymore ZOS. I get it's a choice to do them just as everything in the game is, but this is the deal...no one is just playing the game anymore either. Now all my friends are banging their heads over these events and complaining about it and then disappearing from the game. The social aspect is falling off the planet because people are just too burnt out. Go back to the way it was so I can work on my houses again, or an achievement that matters to me, or leveling that new character I made last month and had to shelve for an event, or derping around in group content with my friends. Please don't follow the other mmos example and ruin such a wonderful game.
For now I still try and play, but the game is losing ground to hold my interest when my friends are dropping like flies.
Generally I play before, switching to dailies when they reset at 11pm. That way if I miss a night, I can usually still do them the next day.
The exception would be the first day of an event (can't be done the night before), or if I'm grinding event dailies on several characters, and there's too much to fit between 11 and midnight. But I'm usually not up to those grinds anymore.
I only do what I want to do. Festival dailies like New Life or Jesters I consider "playing the game" because I find them a fun change of pace. Otherwise, I ignore dailies and MMO chores and only play the game. I'm here to have fun, not fill some arbitrary list of requirements.
