This.
The fact that we are getting only a 2 day warning about the official start date and time about this event to prepare our inventory and anything else needed for the event is the type of problem we are referring to when we say LACK OF COMMUNICATION is a problem.

It's not like the date of ESO's anniversary is a grand mystery...
(Also, the Anniversary was already previewed on the PTS, so the 5 weeks and which dailies were granting boxes weren't a mystery either to anyone who pays attention to the PTS. There's a reason I posted my guide about unlocking ALL the dailies a week or so ago in March.)

If you want to take advantage of this event and squeeze out a few more rewards, Do your writs on April 3rd & May 1st BUT DONT TURN THEM IN until the next day. This way you can do them twice and get double the rewards! Also if you can do your writs before 10am on the next weeks start date you can sneak in another day of writ rewards as well. This practice can be applied to each type of daily quests as well. Happy anniversary all!
Each week for the first four weeks, you’ll be encouraged to participate in a different activity for special rewards. Each time you complete one of the week’s daily activities, you’ll earn an Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box, containing rare crafting ingredients (even Aetheric Ciphers!), recipes, and on occasion, an Outfit Style page for almost any motif in the game, including Worm Cult Style. However, each unique week also has a chance to grant you a specific new Outfit Style. Finally, on the fifth week, all the previous activities and rewards are up for grabs, allowing you to catch up!

So those of us who have had to switch servers and were thinking this would be a 5-week grind (to end all grinds) in order to catch up on all the needed motif pages we are missing in an effort to start doing master writs are completely out of luck, eh?
Kinda sucks, gotta say.

Oh well, at least i can explore and adventure real life in Greece which is way more fun.
The real good news is the fact that this is the only event of this quarter. Honestly enough was enough, we only had a 2-days break between TG/DB event and Jester's Festival and now just a single day between the 2 events. We basically had 1 full month of this running and 5 more weeks are coming.
Events are a nice distraction from your routine. When they become routine themselves something is wrong.

Do the daily town quests. They usually don't have you do any PVP. You either have to kill something (NPC's) or just pick up a quest item. Super simple and fast to do.

They are motif pages - ZOS clarified in this thread:

No other event had the same start as its previous year. There was zero reason to think this one would, especially just coming off a prior event only 2 days ago.
Also:
-not everyone reads the forums everyday and i would bet most dont read them at all, leaving your guide to be seen by less then 1% of the population.
-not every one has room for both live and pts on their pcs.
-this has been a theme with them not releasing info until just days before events start.
ZERO excuses why they cant have this stuff planned and written out a month or even few weeks ahead of time and posted in there news section of the website.
I was lucky and started to plan for this event months before you even released your guide. I have slowly been collecting dailies for a long time to not face burn out when this event hit. I have been trying to stock 17 dailies on every character and made a good dent in my plan to the point where ill be turning in around 3,800 dailies during this event with little to no effort out side my normal routine of daily writs.

My point still stands though.Lack of communication is an issue and is always last minute to the point were i think they do it on purpose for some of these events. We have asked over and over again for them to be better on this issue and though they say they know its a problem and they are working on it, we still find them wanting.
