CrossfireX Support

It has come to my attention, this game doesn't like Crossfire. I'm running dual 7970's and the second card doesn't run at all. GPU Usage 1 runs normal but the GPU usage 2 will stay at 0. Any suggestion or is everyone else getting this as well?

Getting same thing, as I did in beta. Thought maybe after beta they would add crossfire support....

the game doesn't have exclusive fullscreen, so crossfire will never work until they bring in exclusive fullscreen mode... wich i hope they do fast as i want my crossfire to work aswell.

Hmm, what about SLI? Does it work? It's always upsetting to find out that half of your GPU resources are just trashed...

SLI can work windowed, so if you can find the profile for it, that should work. but crossfire is a no-go ATM.

So, they bring out a game that is semi pc intense and they don't allow Dual card support? Does that make sense?

Playing windowed is not an option... I like the borderless mode though, how they made it in Battlefield 4 (a weird thing to mention BF4 as a good example of something, but still...), where it improves performance and stability while you can't tell the difference from a fullscreen.

In any case, this game doesn't require much resources (comparing to other modern games), so it doesn't really need 2 cards for a smooth gameplay, as long as these cards are decent.

SLI does not not work for majority of users.
threads in other forums confirm.
all my friends having same issues... no SLI or Crossfire.

i can force SLI to work ... windowed and full screen... BUT...
get a max 20fps locked frame rate... very odd.

thankfully game runs fairly smooth on a single gpu...
so it IS playable.... but not ideal.

without SLI busy areas fps drops a lot,
plus, no 3D vision, no multi-monitor, etc.
kinda blows

"Don't allow" and "not yet supported due to glitch" (that was mentioned in this very thread) are not the same thing.

Same situation with running Crossfire "single-handedly". Would like to see some patching or .ini (or whatever) editing solutions

Same here. SLI does not work even though nVidia website shows support for it... this is confusing. I'd like to see ZOS address this issue, or at least acknowledge that someone there has read these threads.

+1, no cf/sli until devs will implement exclusive full screen. btw there must be solutions which can hook into dx11 to create swapchain with exclusive fullscreen, but I was not able to figure out such software

I would really like to see Crossfire support sooner than later. I am sitting on 2 Sapphire R9 270x's and would really like to utilize both of them.

I'd like to see crossfire support too. Don't they just need to enable full-screen (non-windowed) mode?

Also, some of us are running 2 mediocre cards...so Crossfire is a must for decent FPS

I bought a second 7950 just for crossfire, as a single card wasn't cutting it on this game at max settings at 1080p. Then I found out Crossfire doesn't work.....sad panda.

I bought an R9 270 to replace my dual HD 5870's and the new single card far out performs my old cross-fire system. I decided NOT to purchase a second card this time because of the issues cross-fire has caused me in every other game I have played. For me it has always had glitches to say the least.
