The solution: Give us daily potion mats, and herb bags as rewards for BGs, dungeons etc.
Yes, it'd impact the economy... but so what?! Potions are a key part of the game. Make them more available. Let us enjoy them and play with them, rather than feel crappy about having to splash out on pricey herbs.
Side note: Lower the cost of vendor potions (specifically AP potions).

Essence of spell power on PC-EU has gone up from 150g a pop to over 200g a pop. This might be caused by multiple things:
1: We have a syndicate that loves too raise prices on said products
2: Stamina being exluded from mini-trials
3: There has been a couple or more bot whipes recently.
4: People continues to buy them at an inflated price, so sellers keep selling for inflated price.
Best way to deal with this is:
Farm telvar
Farm ap for ap potions
Farm your own mats
Farm something to sell to buy mats from stam players.
Find a stam player and trade mats
Anything! Except buying them at an inflated price.

Stam bow bow builds coming your way to mini trials!
Thank gosh weapon power pots and tri pots are cheap. I pretty much only tank and stam dps and then the occasional mag for mini trials
To the OP, we all suffer the need to farm or whatever to make money to afford the mats or pots. I do trials and sell trials skins for money. Not to mention writs on 15 toons. I'll agree spell power pots in particular are extremely pricey probably because guild traders are purposely increasing the prices on those. Cant have your cake and eat it too

Everyone selling should be trying to "purposely increase" the prices. They should be seeing what the market can handle. So long as there is no collusion among guilds to deny access to competition and price fix, there is no problem with prices going up is people are willing to buy at those prices.

1) Spend more time farming mats
2) Farm other high profit stuff and sell it
3) Dont main line pots. They were not intended to be used that way. They are suppose to be situational not a constant buff.
That said i would like to see potions that do not have to be so micromanaged. Like 3 minutes of time but requires double the mats. I always felt the micro managing of buffs in this game was ridiculous. Just adds complexity without actually adding any playing value at all.
