cross account achievements

i am not saying we need to link achievements between characters and halt character progression. just saying, that there will be additional "cross account achievements" which will be like achievements you have done on all your characters together (notice that if you have a no death on one character, and hm on the other, you still wont get the skin/personality from the dlc dungeon.)

yes please.It’s a great idea for some things like skyshards, crafting etc but I don’t think it would be fair that you can do some difficult achievements with cool titles (i.e. Flawless Conqueror) on easy mode classes/builds then transfer it and use the title on characters that you wouldn’t be able to do that content on.
For example, someone could get Flawless Conqueror on a 1 bar Plague Doc petsorc build and transfer it to their stamblade that they aren’t capable of completing the achievement on. The incentive to try for some of the achievements on harder builds would be lost.0 -

when you hover over an achievement (linked or in journal). Titles, etc., would be character specific so they need to earn their own specific achievements. With motifs being tied to achievements, the cost of trying to max achievements on any single character is ridunculous. Trying to do it on multiple is crazy. I'm potentially stuck with that, if I don't abandon wardens. In addition to having a class where the majority of abilities aren't useless, if I go back to my original main, I don't have to worry about that.
Plus there's trials, pvp etc. Which I don't enjoy so don't want to do. And worse, because people hate PvP and won't do it, ZO cram PvP achievements into things like holiday events. That's not only evil. It's stupid.
The premise underlying this kind of "achievement system" is the idea that completion is possible. All of the above factors undermine the system and increase the likelihood of any given player deciding not to bother.
Dyes are the only useful thing you get from them and I haven't even bothered to get all of those. Even the purely PvE ones.0 -

THIS is the reason why i think ESO is so alt unfriendly - besides, having cross character achievement progression would also incentivise more people to play healers and tanks!2 -

✭yes please.This is the main reason I don't play my alts as much as I'd love to. I enjoy achievement hunting, but there's no global achievement tab so all my progress has to be on one character if I'm trying to bump up my score.
Also, I've been in a lot of situations where I'm in a group of achievement hunters whose main characters don't match up with roles, and this would help solve that a bit. I do not mind people -paying- for mirroring stuff they played for on their main on their alts, as is proposed with skyshards. Or any other crown store shortcut, as long as its priced accordingly - I mean, you won't see me complain about crown store riding, or crown store motivs, yes? (ridicule, perhaps, but not complain)
And what I realyl want to see most is an "account achievement overview page", opened from the character selection screen, where you can see every achievement and when which of your characters did it. Might as well move the dye unlocks there.
And possibly... add -new- rewards for -multiple- completions! Like, "complete mainstory with every class, get this special outfit option pack" and "reach level 50 with every race, get that special mount" and "reach that alliance PvP rank in every alliance, get this special costume" and so on...
But I -really- never want to see people share titles, do difficult stuff on one character, then flaunt the title on their next alt fresh out of tutorial... and I even less want to see cross-account achievement completion contributions (like if you have a "kill 500 monsters of that type" achievement, that you get to combine the 100 each character does en passant following the storylines)0
