✭✭These crates probably have the worst selection of items out of any recent crate offering.
Sure, if you don't count the absloute disaster that is the Xanmeer crates or the lackluster hallowjack ones.
But lets be realistic here for a moment, the dragonscale crates are actually faily decient, between mouts that look nice, a good skin, weapons which are not trash, bodymarkings and adornments which are neat...I mean the only real sticking issue would be the lack of cosumtes and the fact that there is only two momentoes.3 -
Hoolielulu✭✭✭✭✭I got two of the new apex mounts, which was pretty cool. Got the new skin, which looks awesome. Very happy with these crates, unlike the lizard ones we had. I hated those.
I'm undecided about the skin. I did get the Karthwolf charger though and I'm excited about that. Perfect mount for my planned necro.1 -

✭✭✭this is the first season since scalecaller that has apex mounts that are my style, but I don't buy crates so none for me. I think the dragonscale apex mounts look very nice though, very pleased with thatIGN @ emilypumpkin

xF1REFL1x✭✭✭I do like the wolf apex mount but its not worth the gamble... odds are not worth trying for 1 mount. To bad its not for sale individually. The crate mounts used to be very cool. I was expecting a much better look with dragonscale mounts.3 -

✭✭✭✭✭Got the skin (which I'll never use) and mostly gemmed out the rest of stuff on my main account - don't need any more mounts anyway. On my second account, I got the nifty cat mount, and other stuff I didn't gem out as that account doesn't have a whole lot of mounts etc. yet.
Should have made a list, didn't think about it. These crates were much better than the lizard ones! Only bought 5 on each account - I don't go real crazy buying them....2 -

I got the nose chain, the coral nose rings and the dwarven cog earrings.
Trying the nose chain out on my redguard female and breton female, it clips through their top lips.
Let me know if you see a similar clipping. It may be my preferred facial geometry causing it.
Same goes for the earrings, misses both their lobes entirely.
But, the coral nose rings fit wonderfully and looks great on my redguard female, so not a total loss.
I'm wondering if the nose chain fits males better.

On the other hand, the epic and superior rewards are decent, I already had 2 of the legendary rewards. ✭✭✭✭✭I think the selection of stuff in the crates this time around is pretty bad. There are so many tattoos, and dyes that are useless to me because I'm a subscriber. No thanks.

I had a similar double take, but I have noticed it appears as dark copper on my dark skinned redguard and as pale blue on my tanned breton. Perhaps it is tied to hair/eye colour? Needs more testing.0 -

Personally feel like last season was slightly worse. Edit: forgot there was stuff in the superior tier. The emotes might be worth picking up. Though I never used the last ones. That sounds like a lack of self-control to me.
Well, @Verbal_Earthworm yes, you may be right. I'm glad for you that you have strong self control, that is nice. However, I'm with @Aimora on this one. Crown crates are better "out of sight out of mind" for me too. Having a few free ones invariably resulted in me purchasing more. Completely agree. I'd get to like say 85 gems from free crates and see something I wanted for 100 so would always buy some crates to get there. Been stuck at like 15 gems forever so never entertain the idea of buying crates now2 -

Ehhh... for me this one is slightly better than the previous one. "Lizarded" mounts were super silly unless you're a diehard Argonian fan.. then I am sure all of them looked beautiful. lol
As for other selections, I agree. The skin is not bad and does not cost many crown gems. And it made me see how vampirism actually super changes the look of your character. I think ZOS should look into this.. which probably they never will.PC/NA

I was so excited about new crates, because the argonian ones were not my style, only to see lots of stuff that I would never use, like more silly tatoos, and same mounts with different colors or effects.
The only interesting items are the dwemer styled weapons, and maybe some emotes which you might use a few times before getting bored with them.
When are we going to see old "retired" costumes like the cyrodiil gown or smith outfit?[PC/EU] Tamriel Hero, Stormproof, Grand Master Crafter2
