On the other hand, I'm also not very fond of bright colours, so the ESO dragons for me are .... well they are the way they are and I can accept it. But they won't ever be my favourite dragons (at least color wise).0 -
Greystag✭✭✭✭otherI liked the dragons in Skyrim. I haven't seen much of the Elsweyr dragons but I hope they're not too over the top/edgy.
From what I've seen they look a bit on the edgy side, but for now it doesn't bother me. Just my opinion of course.| PC / EU |

I'm pretty sure the devs themselves said they had no intention of doing it for the first few years because it wasnt congruent with the lore for the time period that ESO takes place in.

Heh, well, I don't go to work every day for free, either. I'm not in a position to judge.
But, dragons are pretty cool and people have been asking for them since launch. If there is any good reason for them to go back on what they said before for the sake of making more money, it should be to give customers what they have asking for.1 -

✭✭✭✭yes i amSo far, so good. ESO Dragons in the trailers, art work and prologue look far better than Skyrim. That loading screen is amazing. Can't wait till I'm standing in those flames.
Skyrim dragons were meh, but then that was the whole aesthetic of the game. I also think the Dragons that were added to Skyrim in the DG and DB expansions looked bizarre and deformed. I hope we don't get anything like those in ESO.
I think people whining about the lack of lore regarding Dragons in Elsweyr in E2 should remember that IRL there have been entire literate civilisations that were lost to history for thousands of years. And on planet Earth there have been no Dragon Breaks and no Talos. Things get forgotten over the course of several centuries, even very big things.

✭✭otherI thought Skyrim got Dragons about right. If they were all-powerful, they wouldn't have been so drastically reduced in numbers by the Blades of yore.
I can see a case for one or two surviving because they were "better then your average dragon", or just smart enough to get out of the way. The jury's still out on these.0 -

I’ve heard both the second and third option you wrote wee-vern or whey-vern. Never heard the first.
