Not too long though.I don't think it would be 'indefinite' ever but if the portal was generated by enchantments and you feed it more soul gems to charge it when it starts to run out of juice maybe. Either that or if multiple mages were holding up a portal and they did it in shifts (idk why they would do this tho) but yeah I dont think one is gonna hold up indefinitely by itself.0
