I expected that much. Like the buckets and brooms a couple years ago were legendary quality, but level 1. But they were also 50 crowns.

I'll still get a 900 crown one though and ride into Cyrodiil, as soon as I have enough pies.

I never expected it as a real mount in game, i expected to see it as a kids toy. It would be cool if you ran with it though. Like monty python

While I wasn't expecting them to have the same movement speed as a regular mount, I was disappointed with how it works when your character is sprinting. You carry it over your shoulder as you run. But, the animation for riding it at normal speed is hilarious. And really, a stick mount isn't going to be anything other than a joke, a whimsy. You can argue whether it's worth 900 crowns or not (or 350 gems) but I'm glad I got the horse. It's not really any different than buying the Jester personality to run around like a goofball, and that's priced at 1000 crowns, iirc.

I do agree that ZOS should have put that information in the CS Showcase, but it's CLEARLY there in the purchase screen (despite claims to the contrary). If you got all hyped over this and are disappointed, that's fair, but it was only your own expectations that lead to your disappointment. And again, I am a little disappointed with the sprint animation, but the regular speed animation is hilarious and I'm still quite satisfied with my purchase.

Man that's so disappointing... What the frick? It would have been 10X more fun and silly if they used the speed bonus.

Yes. If you can't read and don't have any flags raised by the fact that the mount is about 4000 crowns cheaper than you would expect, then you should beware.

So I'm at work, if I have misunderstood things I apologize. It just says the mount speed is not taken into consideration correct? Or does it also reduce your available inventory? And if it is only one, not both, being taken away, what was the thought process in making that decision? Either it IS a mount, or it is NOT a mount, right?

I expected it to be a joke mount, and it's a joke mount. It's about what I expected.
The running (not running) animation is hilarious, by the way. Basically, it's fun for towns and festivals like this, but otherwise won't be used.

Not a mount fine.... but seriously, when you run the stick is no longer between your legs but held like a weapon. Looks so dumb. Who even walks in this game? Atleast let us run with it properly.
And don't label it as a mount. Maybe allow us to play with it indoors to make it cooler? Its more a toy than a mount. I was also disappointed.

900 gold for a mount that you can't run with and that doesn't benefit from riding level...screw that noise.

If they were going to handle it this way, maybe treat as a 250-300 hair style or tattoo. Something purely cosmetic that doesn't really do anything.
