Is the thieves guild secretely operating in Tamriel? Because...
Close to 7000 gold vanished from my inventory/bag. I was in a city going about my usual business but upon leaving I checked my bag and noticed 1/3 of my gold went missing. Before someone makes the implication, I didn't spend or misplace it. Finally had enough to buy my first horse right before it happened too. Guess that was fate's way of telling me I wasn't yet prepared to mount one of those majestic beasts.
With this and all the bank wipes going about, my only -lore friendly- conclusion is that the thieves guild is up and about and operating around some corners. Zenimax is probably being paid off by them (with our resources mind you!) to turn a blind eye, which is why none of us are getting a resolve.

I also kind of smirk (and cry) every time I speak with the Argonian bank NPC in Stonefalls now because of her line about all my stuff being safe, and I managed to be one of those who suffered the bank size reset, still waiting for my 30 missing slots back. :'(@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

No unfortunately. I was saving my gold pieces, as well as my affections, for my future horse. Surprised you took it so lightly I would just cancel sub right there and then.
