I for one, loves the combat in this game, even though my redblade has been nerf so many times.
Makes post but doesn't go into details. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary facts.

What the OP is neglecting to tell you is that all endgame LOTRO Wardens worth their weight used gambit masteries to cut down on the number of button combinations they had to input during their rotations, because NOBODY has time to click five buttons to fire off a single ability.

Christ, I am not asking for replacement of the current system. I suggest they ADD a new skill line. I stated it pretty explicitly and several times.

Not really. In fact it is a very large set of different abilities, triggered by key combinations. At the moment you have 12 abilities
(with ultimates) and you can combine them. With 5 keys you have 5! of total possible abilities accessible from one bar.

A very good point. I admit I was only once in a normal difficulty raid in ESO, which, obviously does not really count but I have been raiding a lot in other games and what I did not like was the rote learning system which seems to be universal. It can be different in ESO, though. However I have very young kids so I cannot reliably group play since the kid or wife aggro is a constant risk.
