Changing Graphic settings = bad

so lowered some of my graphic settings just to see if it would improve performance, but when I go to log in now it just loads forever.
so force closed the game logged back in reset the setting and got the same result.
tried again to change the setting but the game just will not load.
anyone any advice here?

ArconSeptim✭✭✭✭yeah it needs some time for config but I tried the lowest one from ultra and there is no much difference in ping or lag just some effects and that1

otomodachi✭✭✭My experience, when I tried to lower my graphics settings, was that most of the drop-down settings boxes gained a permanent ! icon saying the client needed to restart to apply.
