    some games suck
    some games dont suck.

the best way to make a game not suck, is to work together.
youre team isnt always gonna be the same, so youve got to learn to use different teamwork with other people who might, indeed, suck. In the end its just a game, everyone is staring at their screens playing the same sort of game. If its really bothering you, you can always quit if you dont like who youre playing the game with too, you're in control.

I enjoy PVP. Cyro, Bgs, etc. But in my latest spree of bgs. (I prefer to solo queue. I feel I play better and can focus more easily.) I'm getting more and more irritated that I'm only put up against the same premade teams. Which is fine; whatever. Most are pretty easy for me to kill. (StamNB) But my problem turns to this: I might as well be the entire team.

I accepted the daily quest to win 3 BGs. usually a fairly simple one. But today? I've been playing for 3+ hours to not even complete it yet. There hasn't been a game I've gone under 15 kills in, or over 5 deaths. Most times, after seeing the final scores, most of my teammates don't even reach it to 5 kills (Nor most of the time, play the objective.)

More or less. I'm carrying randoms against premades and the randoms do naught but run out and die, respawn, die again, and then start attempting to talk strategy. (In objective modes besides CTR, I prefer to play aggressively, allow my teammates to take objectives, while I defend them with a ganking playstyle.)

Am I just in some terrible MMR because I lose more games because I find incompetent teammates? Or is it a higher MMR where the performance of these teammates suggests they don't belong there? I've actually gotten to the point where teammates have complained to me about how I play, (Reference the carry part of this post). I ask them for a suggestion, and I receive "Anything but that".

So, in my recent spew of toxicity. I've decided to /sitchair in the spawn and watch what happens when they don't want my help. It's usually ended up in them dying, and me sitting around for minutes while still ending up top of the scoreboard. When asked what I was doing by a teammate, I chose to respond. "Being as useful as you". Generally, I try not to be rude. I try not to be a toxic player. But why do people join PVP if they're incapable of even playing CTR? Even as a squishy-build, I can still capture and bring a relic back whilst under fire. Why can't others? Its just ungodly irritating.

sounds like you could use a vacation from battlegrounds for a while...

maybe try running around in imperial city for awhile relieving worthless noobs of their shiny tel vars...

you could be more properly rewarded for being the true stamblade god which are you, instead of having to lug around same said worthless and ungrateful noobs for 10 or so minutes at a time...

PvP in this game will make the nicest person a toxic pile of sludge from time to time. Sometimes I go hours and days - without being toxic - taking whatever comes in stride and then someone will hate whisper me or Xv1 a bag one too many times and I’ll just go off on them. Sometimes it’s just like can you just shut the *** up and play/take the L etc.

Btw had a great BGs a week or so ago, chaos ball, and I got us a 140 pt lead on the other teams who had about 0. We were in no danger of losing. and one guy in my team gets pissed at me and goes, “will you please quit grabbing the ball!” Apparently he had a tank build and was annoyed that I was fighting my way through the crowd and grabbing the ball because I couldn’t hold it infinitely or something. After a relatively *** day of PvP I just said fine and /sitchair for the rest of the match. I still came in second within our team and we won the match lol. He said what I was doing wasn’t good for the health of our team lmao. Right, scoring points is a terrible thing to do.

This is the attitude and toxic bs that as a 20 year+ pvper I've come to hate most about my fellow pvpers. Some many 133+ doods pooping upon those who they deem not worthy.

None of us sprang from the skull of Athena a flawless butcher-er of our enemies. We all started somewhere. We all have our own way of getting there. Some find they are naturals, some (like me) have (had) to practice hard to "git gud." Some only need a few months to master the basics, some may take years. But at least they all try. I'm personally okay with that.

Can it be irritating at times? Sure, but when I start feeling irritated over something so inane, I generally have to ask myself why it's so important to me, what exactly I'm lacking that I'm causing me to get in that much of a twist over a game, and whether it's more important to be a decent human being, or being a total bag of D's because my team didn't win the last match (or 20, or 50). Me, I'd rather be a decent human.

Yeah, also for daily rewards. This is why we need 2 queue, one for people that want to play however they want and a serious one for people that actually want to PvP.

There are a lot of suggestions in the BG & Dueling section of the forums. I can advise to go check them out and leave a comment if you have something to add to everyone who is not happy with the current BG system :-)

    meh

I just log in and check if the dailies active,

    queue in any,

snipe at anyone whos gotten separated from their group or has a chaos ball or is near our relic ... or i run and stand under a flag,

if it takes 1 game or 5 games for my "team" to not come 3rd I dont mind,

get my "reward" and ignore BG's for another 24hrs

The problem with NBs is that they tend to cloak, sit in a corner and then wait for an enemy to snipe and one shot, claim the kill and hide again.

My level 17 stamden ended a game last night with the only player who had 0 deaths and a bunch of kills. Why? He hid and sniped while everyone else fought head on.

Now I am not saying you do the same but those who do, I would /sitchair on them.

Ganking might not be the best tactic in bg modes except deathmatches. Try a really tanky setup with aoe dmg for those instead.

This isn't a "I'm not a team player, everyone else sucks!" thread, it's a: "Why do I go into BGs and get the same results, it's pretty infuriating." If I am doing my part, and I'm attempting to assist my teammates in doing theirs, is there any fault that I eventually get angry with the fact that they don't, if even sometimes even attempt, to do their part for the team?

Your complaint seems to be that the randoms you’re grouped with don’t do what you want (for whatever reason).

The solution is simple, go find some friends and make your own premade. There are plenty of people out there who want to be in a good, strategic premade.

Above all, don’t be the guy who goes toxic on people. It really messes up your enjoyment of the game.

    Good luck and have fun.

This is where ZOS needs to make the motifs Unbound. People who hate BG, like myself, is forced to participate in these to get the motif we want. We are in there simply for the cosmetic aspect of the reward. You think we really are in it for the PVP aspect? Ef no. So you get crappy players like myself on your team. Yay.

ZOS should unbind the motifs and let BG players sell them for gold when they get them and let non-PVP players and builds not force themselves to queue and be a *** teammate for competitive BG games and enjoy buying them.

Have you stopped to consider two things: that the stamNB playstyle naturally lends itself to high KB low death games due to the burst and stealth nature of the sNB, and that your being stealth and away from your team prevents you from supporting them and leaves them to fight outnumbered.

In short being there for your team is way more important than your own kd ratio. Give up on the KD if you're looking to win.

This. That's why I don't play BGs, only death match requires kills, rest is about being tanky and mobile, there is no place for gameplay I like in BGs aka hit and run or wait till your opponents split up a bit. If you really want to contribute to the group change your play style, most BGs are not about k/d ratio but about objectives, build around it.
I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

I do have to say after paning the OP's style, as you would have read in above posts.

This won't be agreeable but if you produce 30/0/X stats setting up farming a GY regardless of the BG you're helping your team by removing 2/3 players from the board when you include res timers 1 kill would average out to around 10 seconds of res time (for arguments sake).

You would have to be blind or not know tactical play if you genuinely think this wouldn't help in domination/CK/CB/CtR.

One gank build goes after to torture the under geared/under built/under done players gives a lot more freedom to the three left playing hard objectives particularly if you're kiting off objectives when a death looks probable.

Every second they walk away from a flag is a second they have to walk back throw in a res timer and you're removing opposition players off the board.

The only catch you need to be good and tormenting more than 2 players at a time, while factoring in objectives and moving them away during kiting to give your team more time. Also being able to drop ganking and flick back to objectives when needed.

I'm not saying do it and just kill hump the 11k sorc, but I'm saying it still provides a gain for the team when done correctly.

Sometimes it comes off and you a rack a lovely KDR (let's be honest it feels good) giving your team freedom to play the board with a slow trickle of enemies. When it doesn't you're an absolute negative soloing like a hero not playing objectives eating your own res timer.

The main "toxic" thought I have is when I am on a badly loosing team. Sometimes I just wish the wining team would win faster so I can get on with the next match without getting a deserter penalty. When the whole team is completely outclassed it isn't much fun.

Thats not toxic, thats being humane. You just want to end your own suffering. If my team has no chance of even playing second. I will help the winning team just to end the match so i can get into a fresh one.
