✭✭✭I miss the original starting location. I immediately go to do the coldharbour/main quest line with every new character, but it's not the same when I have to run to a wayshrine first thing on my alts.
I wish we could pick our starter content at character creation.7 -

✭✭✭I miss zones being of different difficulty. I'm very glad I leveled up my first character before One Tamriel. I got a real sense of progress and growth. I haven't gotten that with the other ones I've created, and it's a bit boring. And when you can jump around anywhere, your set pieces become a hodgepodge.
I also hate that new characters start in the newest chapter zone. It doesn't make any sense, and that "hooded character" quest is awkward and clunky.1 -

Crafts_Many_Boxes✭✭✭✭✭Near-infinite sustain that died with Morrowind.
I came from MMOs where sustain wasn't a concern, and you know what? Those MMOs were more fun when it came to combat. The heavy attack meta isn't fun. I mean, a lot of aspects of combat in this game are un-fun, but the sustain nerfs were the worst.
What vexes me is how little sense it all makes. In what game does using a heavy, slow, charged attack actually cause you to gain resources and do low damage? It's bass-ackwards AND unfun.

✭It's silly, I know. But I miss less convenient crafting areas. Having Vvardenfell being so incredibly convenient, plus having crafting stations and merchants and bankers at player houses made many towns pretty empty.
Before all of this, people would have their favorite towns that they liked to do their work, but now with incredibly convenient places like we have, it has herded the majority of people either to player houses, or a handful of crafting hubs.PS4-NA. If you focused on it you could really push out ultimates with the quickness. Separated the chaff players vs the good. I get why it changed, but removing of skill based mechanics really sucks.

t3hnerevarine✭✭✭The bound aegis glowing eyes thing was a major part of the aesthetic of one char, to the point that i didnt realize that the dwemer tonal face decor thing had black eyeless pits and now that those arent concealed by purple glow it really creeps me out.
Also, expert hunter in the fighters guild line used to put an eerie white glow over undead and i loved it.2
