Unless we also have vertically stratified zones, flying is just a gimmick.

You can't fly in WOW any more?!?

All I really want here is better horse animations. At 60 speed upgrade, all they did was make the horses legs move faster -
And that is NOT how horses run faster. There should be an increase in stride length to make it look more correct.
Just my $ .02

Yep, as a long time horsewoman I have some real issues with the way they did horses in this game.... Some of the "slimmer" ones aren't too bad (though your comment about stride length is spot on) but the "draft horse look" is just.... wrong. The legs are wrong, from the hock through the gaskin and flank to start.... Now I do think they did the heads pretty well - nicely broad between the eyes. But damn sons.... the manes don't move when the head does! Sheesh.

I can even look past the anatomical abnormalities to an extent ( although you are 100% correct on on the legs and the draft horse just being "off"). But I can't get past the stride at speed. Anything over about 20 in speed upgrade and I just cringe. I ride horses until I get to 20 and switch to some sort of lion or senche. It's the only thing I can stomach riding.
Wow, I didn't expect this to blow up, so im gonna answer some questions
No I didnt do research nor did I look through the forums, I didn't feel like doing research and I just wanted to know the communities opinions on it, but it is my bad for not looking through the forum, usually go on here to report a bug or to ask a question.
Also, it seems mostly the problem is the game engine and that it wouldn't work. I guess that's fair. But i have two questions
If, say, Zenimax had the means to rework the engine, to make it so adding in flying didn't break the game or lore, would you want it? Basically so everything in ESO was fine, and they just fixed the maps for flying and made it lore friendly.
also, if they were to add mounts that floated of the ground, would you want that?
Also they are planning on adding in dragons that would fly? How is that gonna work if the game engine doesn't allow that? Just curious
