The thing is, people aren't trying to find counters to it. People are trying to make a moral imposition in which they force others to play their particular play style because it's the only place acceptable in their mind that they think is skilled. Therefore when everybody else doesn't play it their way they cry, whine, and complain.
It's no different than when people complain about snipe, but yet they'll run that same line keep the keep wondering why they're getting sniped.
I support zerging to, I also support when they get blown up because they were dumb enough to fall into a trap.
I support people being incredibly skilled 1 versus x, with that said I also support x versus one.
My favorite tactic to use when I don't like a guild, find out who the most egotistical cry hard is and kill them in every way they hate relentlessly. To the point the guild kicks that person or they disband oh, I don't care either way.
People aren't looking at this as a physics and tactics based scenario, they're looking at this as a moral issue and it's not.

I've used this tactic in so many *** games to obliterate guilds that were pissing me off or getting in the way of what I wanted. It's so hilarious how hard try hards will cry and ruin their own environments all for the sake of their egotistical feelings, it's so easy to identify and manipulate, if you're savvy to it.
Old school *** we used to do in Lineage2, camping the cry baby into a town so that their guild has to break them out, sooner or later the guild begins to wonder whether or not it's worth it. By then it's to late, the damage is already done, that player who is a try hard has friends that put him / her before the guild and it results in the guild taking to much human capital damage at once when they decide enough is enough.

That is funny because on occasion some individuals have accused me of being egotistical. I think that is a reflection of the individual making the claim and I think that it is a mistake. I am confident. I have the competence, comprehension, and character to lead a team. But more importantly, I understand an essential fact about the evolution of nature, nurture, culture, and human minds. A neuron is not conscious, but human brains can be. A team can accomplish more than an individual.
Teamwork is our most powerful weapon; both on real battlefields as well as virtual battlefields. Artillery is the King of Battle. Because even grunts need heroesEvery part matters, even individual pawns. But it is the team that wins wars, not the individual.

You must have lots of friends.
As for siege, I see some people talking about how small scale groups can use this vs larger groups. Ignoring the obvious "larger groups can use this against you", I don't play PvP wanting to wipe a group of players using a single left click, I play it to kill other players using my abilities.

Although I am for more powerful siege (not as powerful as now, but in general), I have to say after taking a look at your video that the reason you are having a harder time in PvP and like the new siege changes so much may have something to do with how you are built.
No Templar in this week long meta should not have Extended Ritual on their bars. Also, why do you have the Stamina version of Jabs and Steel Tornado (or Dual Wield at all) as your second bar? Your Flying dagger hits for 500 damage on an non-blocking opponent, and your heals are awful.

I am here to discuss changes to counter siege and how embracing the suck made my team better. Teamwork, siege, and communication are far more important in Cyrodiil than individual builds. I am not here to discuss my individual build. But since you brought it up, I am testing a hybrid dps build. I am using pelinal's, sloads, and slimecraws. I saw my weapon damage climb to over 4.7k on more than one occasion that night. The build is viable but probably average. That said, I was in Kyne and had just leveled 50. Characters in that situation face limitations. I will be happy to put out a stream discussing the build and posting it here in the forums.I invite you to critique my build there. Thanks in advance for pointing out deficiencies.

But ultimately it's the individual who is playing the game. And it's not fun (at least not for me anyway) to play as a pawn who is just there to serve as a distraction to be obliterated while artillery is moved into position.
And let's be honest, is "team play" really that fun in PvP? I've ran in zergs before. It was rather dull and stupid. Just a big mob running around slaughtering everyone without them having a chance to fight back. Small scale PvP is just more fun generally, as you actually get to fight back and... play the game.
I've never understood why so many PvPers seem to think large scale PvP is so much more fun. It's lame in the extreme if you ask me.
I am not sure I understand your argument. Are you saying that it is more fun to play with yourself than to play with others? Cyrodiil is an unforgiving virtual battlefield, especially for individuals. But ESO is versatile and has plenty of options for solo and team play. I am not saying that you cannot have fun as an individual. I am saying that we have a better chance of taking objectives in Cyrodiil when we work together as a team. A team can accomplish more than an individual. And for me personally, playing with others is more fun.But ultimately it's the individual who is playing the game. And it's not fun (at least not for me anyway) to play as a pawn who is just there to serve as a distraction to be obliterated while artillery is moved into position.

From what I understand, the matter is still up for debate. And that is why I am here. It is not a problem. It is fixed. It is not a bug. It is, or should be, a feature.JumpmanLane wrote: »Gina admitted siege is broken. ZOS will correct it...

axxlesoft_ESO wrote: »Do you have a moment to talk about our lord and savior curse eater. Again, I don't think the changes to counter siege are a mistake or a bug. I think the changes coincide with the changes to the pvp sets. "When you heal yourself or an ally, remove two negative effects from them. If a negative effect was removed this way, your target restores 150 Magicka. This effect can occur every 2 seconds." We do not need to revert the changes to counter siege. Use the tools available and adapt. Too easy.

So does that mean they will keep the damage and fix siege shields?Chilly-McFreeze wrote: »

I wish they had kept the siege the way it was from the bug. It was more realistic. The idea you can shield damage from hot oil is dumb.
The result was some seriously fun castle attacks. This past weekend, while I was on AD we attacked Ash held by DC. It took us at least a half hour to get in and we put holes in almost every wall. I must have died ten times putting myself in direct fire with siege in an attempt to blow a hole in their wall defenses.
I have gone through a lot of siege weapons. I don't care. I like the fact that when you get hit by a very large flaming arrow you are probably not going to feel very good as a result.
Put the damage back.
