ill sub for a month. but I'm not happy about the extent of the broken quests. I can't play even for an hour without hitting one. If things don't improve I will end up moving on, even though I'm a huge elder scrolls fan, and they did do a great job with the story. It's really a pity the rest of the game isn't as polished as the story.

Always been a fan of their games, elder scrolls including Skyrim and all the Fallout series; so therefore love it and I'm having a blast at the moment. To be truthful though this is really a single player with co-op like most consul games. This is not an MMO as I see it.

It has probably for me got maybe 2 to 3 months play left in the game bringing all toons to level. It depends on how PvP goes (A bit like DAoC and Warhammer which does loose it's novelty after a while.), but unless they have something spectacular to do with more features when your characters get to level 50 then I'm not sure if it will be worth it.

Had the same problem with SWTOR where the only activity left to do was once a week group raids which tend to loose their flavour rapidly. Also you can do similar things like this with many co-op single player games and other FTP MMO's

This is the problem with today's large scale alleged MMO's is that they are all WOW theme park copies with no long term plan for building any longevity in the player base. Remember the days of SWG when their was a community. Mainly I believe because of the sandbox features of the game where you could build towns, houses and have an economy. I don't see anything like this, at this present time in this game that will build up that community. I can't call it home for me.

Makes me wonder if they make all their money on the initial sales and the subscription is just bonus???

There many up and coming games out there that have the features I require (Including use of voxels to interact with the environment.) that could build a successful long term MMO, especially from independent studios.

As far as Fanbois trolls go, I don't give two hoots what you think as everyone I speak to in every guild Vent and Teamspeak has very similar opinions to me.

6 month renewing subscription, bought a palomino horse just as a "thank you", and my only regret now is that I didn't buy 2 accounts (I bought a digital imperial as preorder) as pre-orders - would have been nice to have a second account with the explorer's pack.
    VR14 Templar, VR14 DK, VR8 DK, VR7 NB, VR1 Sorcerer;
    All 3 Alliances;
2 Pre-order Imperial Accounts, yes that means 16 characters on NA alone

Overall I'm happy with the game and the direction they are going in with future content and although the quest bugs are frustrating I was expecting issues like this so as long as they are fixed in a timely manner it wont effect my position on subbing long term.

Me and my wife already got 3 months extension each. This is a great game and im saying it after having played together almost every MMO in the last 10 year.

It is a fun game and is worth the money. It's sad that it was rushed and as a result we are stuck with most of these problems as 80% of them could have been fixed had the did longer/ open testing. 5% Is account issues whether it be billing or other payment issues. Another 5% might be issues with installing/ launching the game. The remaining 10% is confusion between the resellers about how many game codes there are/ not having product delivered before launch. Despite all that it isn't the worst launch I have seen. (ffxiv comes to mind, a game so bad that they refused to charge anyone several months after release before scraping it and pretty much making the exact same game. They focused more on crafting than actual gameplay.)

So 7 years of development is rushed by today's standards?

    People these days..

I plan to renew my sub. So far i haven't ran into too many bugs(fingers crossed lol) the odd bugged quest and a few random dcs but nothing major. I feel for the people who are having major issues and i do agree that Zenimax should be a bit more open about what is going on. However i went into this with my eyes open and all the beta testing in the world cannot account for human behaviour and the random sets of circumstances which can cause game crashes. For the people who are having major issues i hope you get it fixed soon. Good luck hopefully i will see you soon. :D

Since I did not get the free 30 days and my CC was charged the full amount, I cancelled. I put the reason as "Did not get free 30 days, you charged me the full amount, when I get my free 30 I will re-sub, otherwise no."

Temporary authorization which you will get back. You did not get charged for anything.

I will make up my mind after the 30 days free play time. It is too soon to tie myself down at that yet.

I canceled my subscription after i started seeing that "unknown error" and "requesting character load" bugs that prevents me to play the game.
I will see these free 30 days and if those bugs arent fixed in that time, i dont renew my subscription. Its releaseweek so many things can go wrong and im not angry, because it is expected. I still wont pay for "waiting online" type of game.

Probably I have to make a trip in May. If so, then I'm going to wait until the end of the 30 days and return in June.

Always keeping in mind if the developers have taken care of the game flaws:

    - Lack of inventory: no personal bank, no crafting bank.
    - Forced guild membership or no AH.
    - Huge moneysinks: repair, respect insane costs, horse prices (specially for new players).
    - Silly cooldowns: researching.
    - Group only content.
    - Forced PvP for skyshards.
    - Neverending balancing classes towars PvP, don't kill another mmorpg, thanks.
    - No loot after certain level. There it goes exploration, replayability, completionism.
    - Softcaps like overcharged.
    - Cash shop: what is next?.
    - No optional chat bubbles for RP.
    - Pre-order CE bonus items one per account.
    - Loot nerfs to fight bots and goldsellers. Perm ban botters, don't punish players gameplay.
    - Enchanting broken (yes it is).

Dude, you can barely cobble together a sentence, but your first post in this thread came out swinging with insults to my intelligence and vacuous charges that I was factually incorrect. As a bonus, bragging about not having any lines of credit. That's just really, really sad.
I can coherently string sentences together with applicable syntax pretty fine, especially for a person who has such difficulties with cognition as I do. Also, it is sad not wanting to borrow money from banks? Explain your logic. A lot of your text contain fallible word play, for instance I was not bragging. I dislike people like you who feel the need to spin spurious tangents in order to win debates. Whether or not something is implied is dependent on the originator, not the recipient, if you inferred it as bragging then that;'s your problem, but I think you highlighted it as such to fit your argument, or insult as it is which follows.

Im subbing. If they had a lifetime or yearly sub Id take it. Zenimax, please have my money this is the best mmo Ive ever played.

    Please Zenimax, make this happen.

This is the most fun I've had in a video game in YEARS. It brings back the first feeling I had when playing WoW.

A lifetime sub would be an instant buy from me and many of my close friends.

i have no issues with the sub, and i do enjoy the game, but as I mentioned in my last thread the support for a minor issue is troubling and would be the reason i don't...the support also has me considering disputing the charge with CHASE. i might call them up today and talk with them about it.

Love Elder Scrolls world and lore, love the game. Won't be subscribing due to game breaking issues, the rampant botting, gold spamming and total lack of customer support.

I WILL be subscribing another month maybe longer. How things are going is normal for a freshly released MMO. I have been in so many early access/new released MMOs and everything everybody is complaining about is normal.

People that say this is the worst launch ever haven't been in new releases or haven't been in many or are just flat out lying trying to make the game and support look bad.

I don't know yet. It's too early for me to decide, but for the time being I am having alot of fun. The 3-6 month mark is when you usually get a proper feel of an MMO. I tend to get bored of MMOs by the 3 month mark, but I am hoping I'll be around for much longer.

I played SWTOR and really like it. My guild quit because there was no real endgame content, and the content that was there was kind of bugged(SOA).

I do find these comments amusing. The game is about 1 week old and people complain there is stuff all to do at the top levels. Here's a hint, do it slower.

ZOS is still trying to get the bugs out of the base game, which is were I'd like them to continue.

Save some $$ and come back in a few months :)
