Pesky Mudcrabs break stealth, so does just about everything. (Yes mudcrabs really do break stealth)

Really if you're out here trying to get people to feel bad for blades you're barking up the wrong tree. They've dominated since the games release.

    Even outside of PvP.

The first two expansions delivered content - thieving and assassination - specifically tailored for nightblades.

Yes any class can do that stuff, but nightblades get undeniable advantages. Cloak without a cooldown and a stealth speed buff.

    Nightblades are even cosmetically advantaged.

Rubedite, i.e. end-game, weapons are red. Up until relatively recently there was no way to change that and now you can only do it at some expense. That colour suits one class - nightblade.

I wish they would rework the nightblade's cloak to make it an actually effective escape tool but not something that can be used every other attack exemplified by the spin to win -> cloak spammers

Since the start of the game I asked over and over for better stealth. The ability to re-enter shadows after using the shadow shroud. The Development team has chosen to listen to the zergist instead. The have chosen to allow the DKs, Templars, and Sorcs. Free range to continue using their AOE Run and Blast tactics. The same old broke stuff that has been happening since the beginning of the game. We are now to the point of all the other disappointing games to where only a few builds are viable. Stealth has been nerfed to the point that even procing gear no longer lets you stay in stealth mode. I will be joining the rest of the brain dead zombies now and build my little toe to toe Zerg build just so I can be competitive. Thanks for breaking the game to the point of stupidity. Thanks for negating the archer weapon class to the point of uselessness. Thanks for ruining what was left of the night blade class.

This ain't Skyrim where you live out your RP life as a Dark Brotherhood assassin, you are not meant to be an invincible 2 skill gank glass cannon while everyone else has to use 2 full bars and potions, your stealthy archer can position freely on the battlefield unhindered and retreat if your opening gambit fails, if you are finding yourself in the middle of a zerg expecting to vanish then you are doing it wrong Ranger, either go "Hit and Run" or build sturdy and open from stealth then leap boldly into the fray.
