Game crashes entire system.

Once in every few zone transitions, I get a crash on the loading screen that manages to force a restart of my computer. Specifically, it causes my screens to disconnect and crashes all other programs.

Although I've managed to actually make some progress despite this, it also means that any area with multiple doors takes several restarts to get through. So this bug is essentially game breaking.

Also, this bug appeared only after the beta.

    Sounds like a video/driver issue. If you go to settings on the Launcher then to About, at the bottom is a "Game Consultant" that will give you information on what may be causing issues.

    i used to get blue screens all the time with my old pc its ok.most likely the gpu.

    It's more to do with your computer then the game.

    Sounds like a hardware issue. Make sure all your hardware drivers are up to date (video card etc). Last resort would be a BIOS update if you're an advanced user.

    I've noticed my computer crashing the past few days while playing ESO, but it only started like 2 days ago and I've been playing since the 30th. It also only happens once in a while. Played around 5 hours today and no computer crashes, though the game itself derped out a couple times.

    I've tried updating all the relevant drivers as soon as I noticed the issue, but that didn't help with the crashing. I'm going to try updating directx and checking if my screens need a driver. AFAIK, Windows doesn't actually use the bios to interact with any of the pcie stuff, so I'm not convinced flashing my bios would help.

    UPDATE: After some fiddling and careful watching, I noticed that the crashes only happen during periods of high disc activity. I also noticed that they happen much more often after a long time spent in the overworld, or after spending a long time outside of it. Rapid transitions between cells almost never cause the crash.

    Update 2: I've managed to fix the problem. The issue seems to be a combination of my screen and my GPU not playing nice on directx 11. Switching to 9 seems to have fixed the crashes.
