I "LOL'D" at this. Anyone remember when they had live chat on the website/forums. Now they have removed it. The only people that do custoemr service, are Jessica and Gino and even then, its rare to see them.

Yeah that idea clearly was abandoned. And for all the claims of it being read and responded to by a real person and not a dwemer automaton or whatever is pretty silly. It's the same cut and paste stuff every other company uses. Just having a person do cut and paste isn't any better than having it be fully automated.

The most disappointing part of this situation to me is how they created such a mountain of extra work for them due to a few poor design decisions, like the pre-order stuff being put in the mail of your first character, then having a character creator bug where the official work around was to create a character, cancel/delete it and start over, causing you to lose all the items.

And broken quests so early in the leveling process and very poor communication acknowledging known issues. I bet the amount of duplicate report tickets to read and sort through is truly obscene.

Nice troll OP, as this thread actually has no place in this section, you are just making it that much harder for devs and ZOS personnel to actually get to real threads/issues that need attention.

Reality can be a harsh mistress, but it is a necessary one.

This is the customer service section, the link he posted is related to Zenimax's stance on customer service. It does have a place.

I don't think they even read the support emails. I sent one saying I was stuck in the PVP zone where you can't use the /stuck command and they replied telling me to use the /stuck command.

Maybe this is why they are rated a dismal D+ by the Better Business Bureau.

On the other hand, Kalypso Media having an A makes me want to discount the methods the BBB uses entirely. Kalypso will publish any piece of garbage, no matter how utterly broken and incomplete.

"Offering such support was most likely a costly endeavor, which may have led to the game's current subscription model."

Well that IS funny for sure!!!
And now that "cost endeavor" has to deal with all the mess about subscription issues :D

The BBB operates based on resolution to issues, not actual number of issues.
