99% This is a pvper who think pvp optimization can magically happen when content designers like model/animation/quest/zone designers stop working, do you realize ZOS employees have, you know, division of labor?
It may surprise you but not every working place have such low job difficulties that everyone can do everyone else's job like fast food restaurant
This, note that it does not say they should not focus on server and performance issues.People like you....*signs

They are most likely understaffed and overworked, playing other games.

In all seriousness, zos is trying hard to fix the performance issues.
They dont just give us minute by minute update on it.
They said they see the problems but dont want to do a band aid fix.
Their preparing for a major surgery, so their diagnosing/observing the patient very deligently to make that major surgery a success.
But this is just my point of view.
Stop derailing threadsI agree ! They should stop.making everything, go take a cold shower and then repair all major bugs.

server preformance issues, wich are currently out of hand, cyrodill, trials and dungeons unplayable from 7-11 prime time EU.
Why dont you just take the coming year ( 2019 ) to give every customer what they want? a working game?
Instead of pumping out a new chapter Elsewhyr with more and more patches that youve announced in the elsehwyr announcement, that bring new content ( with also more new bugs and preformance issues ).
Just stop the new contect pump and fix what we already have? or at least focus more on the fixing instead of focussing on pumping out more and more broken content?
Im pretty mad when i play the game of how bad it actually is, since ive spent so much money and time into it.

Correcting an article of clothing or a misspelling of something isn’t s big fix. There have been bugs that’s have existed for months and years yet go unfixed.AlienatedGoat wrote: »ZOS does bug fixes in every major update. They happen concurrently with the release of new content. You could argue that there needs to be more bug fixes, but they do fix things in every patch.
We also need new content to retain players. Many people would get bored and leave if there wasn't anything new for months and months.
This, add that very little of the new stuff involves core mechanics, its all art. Even the skevatron mechanic in the new dungeon is reused from CWC.What new content? Yeah, they're adding a little bit, but nowhere near as much new content as previous years. Elsweyr is just a new zone, dragons are just a new boss. Where are the new major game systems like Player Housing of 2017 or Outfitting of 2018? Where are the new types of crafting?
With this minimal amount of new content coming this year, they have more than enough time to work on performance and optimization.
