Players who are friendly, For the past year or so it seems that the player base has changed, rudeness, harassment, and just plain toxic players seem to be the norm now. I have played since beta, and I find my self doing group things less and less due to how the players in general have become.

For all that the new tutorials throw players into the new content faster, the old Coldharbor tutorial did a far superior job of introducing the main conflict, all the major characters, gameplay mechanics like skyshards, and explaining our position in the world as the Vestige.

Wait what? You don't start in Coldharbor anymore? Where do you start?

Give me one more week and I'll reply "the racial stealth bonus the Bosmers used to have".
Major Evasion granting passive dodge chance .
Being able to convert (almost) any piece to Imperial or Morag Tong style anywhere.
Free outfit styles are not the same, I used that a lot to hide ugly pieces or huge shoulders I got as drops. Now the only option is to switch to an outfit, which either means changing all your armour or devoting an outfit slot just to the few pieces I don't like.

If you have the base game only, in Coldharbor.
If you have Morrowind, in Morrowind.
If you have Summerset, in Summerset.
And presumably, come the new chapter, in Elsweyr if you own it.
I have never wanted to see people when doing zone quests. Especially back when you could easily solo world bosses if you out-leveled them. Don't get me wrong, I like group content. I like group dungeons, trials, and even Cyrodiil. But other players add nothing to my zone questing.Prof_Bawbag wrote: »I'm definitely clouded by nostalgia here, but some part of me misses the veteran zones. Don't get me wrong, the way things are is much better, and it promotes a lot more traffic going through each zone, I just have a personal attachment because of how challenging the zones used to be. I marathoned through them with my friend back in the very early days of this game, and it was a real ordeal and an experience I don't think I'll ever get again in this game.
I was the opposite. Think I was EP (I changed platforms just before 1T) and thinking back, I could never imagine the likes of Wayrest, ER etc deserted again. I think I seen one other person during my time in gold. It was a chore and one I'm surprised I stuck with. Not a good look for any mmo imo. Gold all but killed my enjoyment of the game and I rarely group. But I still like populated hubs. otherwise I'm better sticking to the likes of Skyrim.
Agree with that fully. What a broken empty shell of a skill Overload is now.
