First off I want to say I really like the Champion point system...it is one of the best progression systems i`ve seen, I do not see this power creep problem some are talking about.
If its a pvp problem then remove it from pvp, leave pve alone.

Zen you need to start listening to your silent MAJORITY when it comes to the game, a small number of the player population visit the forums and its a bad idea to cater just to them.
You have all players email addresses and need to start sending out polls and questionnaires to get their opinions on the game and certain aspects of it, give them the opportunity to
be heard also. This way you can make well informed decisions.

I was disappointed you stopped the CP progression in Elsweyr so I see no point in purchasing it as I cant progress my character, whats the point?

I hope you consider the email idea.

    I agree 1000%.

CP power creep is both a PVP and PVE problem, though arguably the biggest impact is in PVE as players get stronger while mobs and bosses remain static.

Not every player is going to see their DPS increasing, but over the whole of the game's population DPS has indeed increased - partly, though far from entirely, due to CP power creep.

The thing about ESO is that almost the entire content it offers is horizontal in nature. Basically, we have a lot of choices in the game but a huge amount of it offers the same combat experience, just reskinned to fit new zones and DLCs. Power creep in such situations mean that sooner or later, the entire game will become a face-roll and many players will say we are already at this point. People are doing vMA, the supposedly hardest solo content of the game naked/with no skills/etc.

I can understand about progression being ruined complaints and all but the CP system is flawed in nature. We are already at the point where, we can get six 120-CP perks and still have thirty left over CP of each type. At this rate, we will be at a point, when CP system offers no meaningful choice at all.

Aren't they working on removing champion points completely?

I for one, dislike cp. The gearing is great, feels like old wow tier sets but better. Cp is just a drag, I want to duel around but cant because of 810 cp players, sometimes they reset cp to duel me, but not many. Also it takes too long to reach 810.

But I understand your point, you want your character to get stronger as new content rolls in since you are already 810+, but keep in mind that Zenimax is always aiming to bring in new players, not please old timers. Try to focus on something else, treat your cp as something done.

Edit: about the duels. There was a guy who was 300 cp above me and he facerolled me 5x0. After convincing him to reset cp with me, I won 8 times in a row, he couldn't even get me below 50% hp before dying.
