Race change - stamblade choice?

hungrymagpie
With the new race changes coming in the next few weeks what would be a good choice for a stamblade? Both pvp and pve

Redguard, khajiit, woodelf, imperial all look like good choices.

Any suggestions? Currently a woodelf, Thinking Khajiit :)

Keep in mind that a lot of stuff is going to change this year and we are certain to see some more big changes with Elsweyr that may again upset the racial hierarchy. CP changes we know are coming. I think it would be wise to not blow all your free changes right away, especially if you’re using a class that is going to be okay.

Pretty much this. Might be worth it keeping the tokens.

I am probably switching to Khajiti because I want that crit damage and stealth radius.

Orc is the best choice regardless of class.

Yes, we get more gear with Elsweyr, think Summerset, CP will probably change a lot.
Might get some racial changes in Elsweyr.

Could even be an surprise like: OP Ohmes-raht is the missing major feature in Elsweyr
As they are OP they get nerfed on next dungeon DLC :)

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Yeah! I think you might have a good point there! I'll try and hold any temptation haha

You mean the race with zero sustain and that lost the 5% healing and 20% health recovery they use to have that helped them be tankier? An extra 2000 Stamina and 258 weapon damage only does so much. Redguard and Wood Elf both have considerably better sustain and 2000 Stamina. Dark Elf has 1875 Stamina and Magicka and 258 Weapon/Spell damage which means basically identical damage to Orc with much more Magicka sustain. And Khajiit while everyone is complaining about the loss of the 8% crit chance, I think the 10% crit damage is going to make more of a difference in PvP.

Nord war machine. Plus you can survive more as nord as a nb cause the health and resistance even if it reduces the damage. With war machine going be a nice buff to the group cause when you take damage get 5 ulti every 10s drink a poison pot your nb pot drink be double at the end of the cool down but don’t use it during fights cause it can get risky.
NA-Xbox one- Ebonheart Pact- Nord Tank DK

I am not switching either of my stamblades, one is a Bosmer and one is a Dunmer. Although Imperial or Khajiit would be interesting but I like my choices.

you know every single thing got changed and orcs and bretons are the only winners right? they may lost some passives. so does everyone else.

    From PvP point of view:
Orc will maybe be lackluster, hard to tell
    Generally sustain > damage though
Bosmer or Redguard look to be the best
Khajiit extra crit is pretty *** for PvP

Gonna go with bosmer as movement speed and penetration on roll dodge will synergize amazingly well with a bow/2h build

This is so narrow minded. Let’s just get off the *** skeleton parses already. Orc has been like the third or fourth or last place choice for stamina PvE for a long time and I’ve done just fine with mine through almost all vet DLC Dungeons, vMA, vMOL etc. Shifting the upper end meta a few percent isnt going to automatically trash every other race lmao.

I'm not sure how I feel about Khajiit changes. Been a main since 2015 but cat sustain sucks horribly and these PTS recoveries are a f*****g joke.
New to forums and stuff so I 99.9 percent probably won't see your response and such, so use the at symbol at me I guess? IDK :/. This BBCode stuff is really cool!! :D.

One day Nightblades will get the buffs we desperately need and deserve, but so far, those buffs are not today.. The Elder Scrolls Online: Nightblade Nerfs Unlimited.

      • Bring back purge cloak. But I guess the new heal cloak is more beneficial. Hmmm....
      • MAKE IMPERIAL CITY GREAT AGAIN, BRING BACK THOSE INCREDIBLE DAYS. My best experiences in ESO where in there!
      • Return Stam builds to the power we held in One Tamriel. Long Live Stamina builds!
      • Put Magplar and MagDK into their place. Magpsorc is a hopeless case.
      • Is there any chance that we could get an Ebonheart Pact nerf? #CullingTheHerds .

Sustain is easy on NB. Regardless I’d probably go woodelf and run senche or similar set with off balance cp setup. Roll dodge incap la SA gg
