@ZOS_Finn any chance of procedural generated mobs in future dungeons? Would be neat to fight different mobs in different instances of the same dungeon.
The issue with such things is that it takes increasingly hefty efforts to balance out all the possibilities.
All the way from getting a mob with a combination of skills that make it an absolute breeze to kill to one that had all the most difficult parts and it thus purely rng on whether you can beat it or not.
maybe vet dungeon achievement points could play into the factor. Like more advanced players having a high likelihood of challenging enemies/mechanics, but people with no vet dungeon achievement points having no likelihood of these advanced encounters. maybe make loot relative to difficulty also
You can have random spawns of enemies from a fixed list in some sort of arena. That's what LOTRO skirmishes boil(ed) down to. Their devs also made it easier on themselves by using a number of existing locales and having the same kinds of enemies (at least the bossier/more unique ones) spawn in all of them).
