Should ICONs denoting DD, DoT, etc. be added to all skill mouseovers

In light of he upcoming racial changes, should icons/symbols be added to all skill mouseovers to more clearly indicate the skills as a DD (direct damage), DoT, (Damage over Time), AoEDD, AoeDoT, Heal, HoT (Heal over time), etc to provide clarity at a glance when considering what skills will benefit from various passives?

Also, as @DeadlyRecluse said, the entire damage classification system needs to a consistency pass. Things you'd consider as dots seem to be considered direct, and some things are so inconsistent that they are considered dot to one aspect of the game, but direct to another (old NB path was the perfect example, used to scale with dot CP, but would proc Scathing Mage which required direct critical strikes).0
