No it doesn't lol. It's actually very easy to level up, You can argue it would be more difficult at lower levels, how ever at level 50 vet content, I leveled to rank five less than a full vet level.

I don't sell my bite, and I don't give it away for free. I simply don't use it.

I kill werewolves for RR purposes to cull the filthy mongrels from this land. Their kind has no right to exist. I will do everything in my power to squelch my rivals and keep them suppressed.

And you have every right not to use your bite, you also have every right to kill all the werewolves you see fit, how ever regardless of what any one says the werewolves and vampires that can infect you are " Rare " spawns. Vampires and werewolves spawn on a daily basis, just not the bloodfiends or the werewolves that can infect you.

So 90 percent of the time people kill those adds it's not for an rp reason, it's because

    1. they want to sell the disease.
    2. they just want to *** people off.

There really is no other reason, regardless of what some one says any thing else is just a lie/troll to either save face or flame.

So lets say for the sake of arguing I believe you're not stupid. Why would you kill a rare spawn that does nothing for you but has an affect on other people and that other people need?

I'm sorry, the only reason I can see (barring, as I stated stupidity) is that you want to ruin others game play.

Yes, killing the one and only rare spawn people need and it's for RP purposes.

Honestly though, I think they should've made it friendly NPC, questgiver style, at the first place, because it is not so surprising griefers will apear, along with people who wish to make money by spoiling fun of others.

Well... PETA doesn't want you to kill virtual animals. They think we're all scumbags for that. Seeing as how ZOS has already flexed their baby-shield about other "offensive" things fear not! You will get your choice to be a vampire or a werewolf later on at character creation, or for a small real money purchase in the upcoming ZOS store! ;)

Maybe they're killing the spawns because they want to maintain the purity of their supernatural communities :open_mouth: (IMO they're greedy or preteen trolls and they'll eventually give up or it will become so common no one will care)

Keep up the attempts though, you'll get one ;)

This mentality is a problem the plagues our world, this is the train of thought that has killed the gaming industry.

You are not the only person playing this game, this is an mmo not a single player rpg, you do not have any reason to kill the rare spawns that spawn, what once a week? You can say what ever you want but their is only two reasons you're doing it.

    1. you want to *** people off.
    2. you want to try and rob people out of their gold because you're greedy.

You can lie zos and to every one else but you and I know that's the truth, you're the type of person that insults some one then turns around cries when they insult you back, you're the type of person that freaks out when an ability gets nerfed yet you sit in chat and cry about how " Over powered " some thing is.

You are the care bear of gaming. You are one of the the greedy human beings that is ruining other peoples game play, because you only care about your own, and you ruin their game play by killing mobs that you don't need to.

Zos should have done this differently to prevent people like you from abusing this..

In another thread someone suggested that once infected a player should be same faction as the bloodfiend and no longer able to attack the rare spawn. This would lessen the problem.

In another thread I've already stated, that is wrong to report other people for doing something allowed by game mechanic (if it is not exploiting a bug). But the idea of turning this rare spawns in friendly NPC's sound pretty good, so everyone can get their bite if they want to.

As long as it's only friendly once the player is infected.

The main problem I'm seeing is that there are 2 known spots in Reaper's March out on the internet so everyone and their mother is standing there (yes, I counted easily 40 people last night). I got extremely lucky last night and found a spawn spot that was not mentioned anywhere. I'm keeping the spot in guild for now but I can tell you there was no one close to me for a mile. Most people are around the Dune area. Start branching out and you will find other spawns.

A lot more than two known spots, but the majority of the people do populate certain areas, you'll find more that roam around looking for bloodfiends and then advertise in /zone, and invite any one who wants to be infected.

Also making the bloodfiends friendly to a player once they've been infected is a great idea, but I think it would be slightly better if they did it so that they only became friendly after you completed the initial quest.

I'm only level 20 and in Stormhaven but reading this thread gets me ticked off. There is a group of gamers that turn things/functions in a game into some sort of virtual world business. They frustrate others and are quite frankly dirtbags (for the sake of keeping things PG). I love how they put real world brain power into figuring out ways to make these make-believe businesses.

I would put these people in the same category as gold sellers. I'm sure ZOS will respond accordingly as they always have thus far on many things that have come up.

One quick way would be that if everyone just laid off the werewolf and vampire obsession for a bit, these punks would be wasting their time.

It seems to me that this spawn kill farming is another way for the gold farmers to make more money. Think about it ZOS and stop people with the diseases being able to kill the relevant bite giver. It can't be that hard to make players friendly to all of the mobs that can turn them???

Psst. Your fantasy is making people unhappy. You're putting your own bizarre needs before everyone else's normal desire to experience game content they have every right to, and that makes you a *** human being. Just FYI.
  • merwanoreb17_ESO
To be honest, the worst part about all MMOs is the annoying players. You can blame ZOS for all these issues, but the prime fault lies within human nature to be greedy and selfish.

That being said, they should have made this Vampire/Werewolf thing into a quest that could get from some form of rare item drop, kind of like how racial motifs work. They could drop from everything and everywhere, but still very rare drop. You could still have the ability to infect others so they can get the quest, but this way there wont be any mob camping and greefing.

I knew this was going to turn into UNDERWORLD online. Bites should be 99% player generated making them rare.

Underworld Online! OMG, that would be awesome.

Its not about doing it because game mechanics allow it. Think how you would feel if I was able to kill some npc in your mission that stopped you carrying on and every time it respawned I turned up and killed it then said I'll let you carry on for 25k.

They are doing it because they are arses or greedy. If they want to do it for some 'rp' thing then at least stop if someone turns up who actually needs it, wait till that person has the bite then go back to the mayhem they feel they need to inflict.

Being a Richard Cranium is not allowed by "game mechanics" No where in any of Zos website/rules/regulation does it say "its ok to be a Richard Cranium" it does say that it is not ok to hinder other players progress.

So take off your dad's bathrobe, your pointly little hat, and your fake elf ears and go do your LARPing someplace else. This is pay to play, I paid now let me play.

Every Player that kill the spawn and sell the "bite" should be warned / banned

LOL might as well ban anyone that leveled past 10 too for exploiting monsters for experience :P

So this has started and I wanted to be a vampire. Scum, just scum. I'll be reporting any1 I see doing this though not in an attempt to get them banned, just in the hopes that the devs will look into doing something about this.

I didn't pay rl money and take my rl time to play so that other players could stop me doing something the game allows.

    @Foul_Corsair‌
Just a warning, mods have said reporting people for the hell of it will get you banned.

I decided I wanted to be vamp. I went to zone. Within 20 minutes I was bit and accepted quest. Was I just lucky? Maybe... But clearly it's not that bad if that was possible. There was also a TON of ppl about getting bitten. Also 3 players from my guild also went and got bitten after I told them how easy it was for me.

Oh wait it doesnt. Any half decent guild has vamps and ww's in it by now and if it's half decent they're giving it to guildies for free. If they give to VR's who want it first you can hit rank 6 vampire in a day of questing as it is based off experience. I got bit sunday infected one monday who infected one yesterday whose going to be able to infect one today. (He isn't able to play as much as some of us.) Problem solved.

Are some of the people killing ww's/vamps jerks? Sure. Some of them also don't understand how the bite works and others are roleplaying/get attacked and don't want to die.

Lots of butthurt in this thread from people who think their gameplay experience is more important then anyone elses.
