Medium armor sets for stam sorc, DK and templar?

My main is stam sorc using Venom, Poison Injection and some other DoTs. I've been using Morag Tong for the increased poison damage with decent success and Valkyn Skoria which procs often enough that I'm pleased with it. I've tried Stormfist but it's too easy to avoid so I'm sticking with it.

Been hearing good things about Shacklebreaker. Not sure if it's a good replacement for Morag Tong. For a second set maybe Shacklebreaker can work? Morag Tong + Shacklebreaker + Valkyn Skoria. My second set right now is Coward's Gear for the BG utility (so good to run fast in CTF and King's) but it's a placeholder.

For my DK and templar who I'm almost done leveling I have no idea what sets might be good for them.

I don't have access to trials gear.

Bone-pirate, spriggans, 7th legion brute(heavy set, w jewelry.) and briarheart come to mind, they're fairly easy to farm aswel. Some might require dlc's though but i've always had plus.. I think briarheart is from the orsinium dlc.

Morag tong will be better on your dk than your Stam Sorc. Stam sorcs will be much better with a higher magicka pool and a set that boosts weapon damage. Templar’s work well with a slightly higher Stam pool for power of the light proc and also a lot of weapon damage and good sustain. Sets include hulking draugr, bone pirate tatters, ravager, night mother’s gaze, automaton. I’ve been through a whole rotation of sets on my stamplar including some off sets like Knightmare, but there’s no denying the solid stats of bone pirates, ravager and bloodspawn. I run deaths wind back bar and one protective jewelry in 5 medium 2 heavy.

Why are stam sorc better with higher magicka? I rarely use it except for crit surge.

Medium sets that increase weapon damage that I'm seeing that might be applicable to PvP are Deadly Strike, Morag Tong, Oblivion and Automaton. Morag Tong still looks the best out of them but Automaton looks like a decent second set.

My DK doesn't use much poison. He has claws and breath.

Stam sorcs for the use of Dark Deal and Surge if you wanted to get technical shock damage off implosion also (thats being patched out next DLC)

stamDK enjoys weapon damage more than poison damage, so If you want a Dk , drop morag tong for a set like seventh legion or fury.

If you want medium armor then you can use seventh or veiled heritance on jewelry and weapons, and use a set like bone pirate/shacklebreaker medium on body. IF you're a medium armor Dk you should be spamming wings a lot, and preferably play a race like orc/nord to make up for lack of tankyness.

Yeah orc stam DK which I'm looking forward to after the racial changes :)

I'm not going to use Morag Tong with him. Maybe Shacklebreaker for first set because it's an easy craftable.

So I just looked up the Bone Pirate set. Looks like it would be best used with Provisioning passives to increase that drink duration. I might have to start working on his Provisioning if I want to use that set.

    @Holycannoli

You really don't bro Dubious cam is pretty cheap, excellent set with or without the passives of provis its just saves you gold every 8 drinks you consume you save 1.

How did you come to the ridiculous conclusion that morag tong is the best? Especially on stamsorc which only has 1 poison ability?

I'm loving fortified brass on my stamplar. Using it with bone pirate and Balorgh. 2h and bow. I'm an orc. No axe, no bleeds, no cheese. 5 medium, 1 light, 1 heavy

I'd swap 2h and bow for dual wield and 2h for DK and stamsorc maybe as 2h is pretty crappy for a spammable (stamplar has jabs).

1.8k Stam regen with no pot buff (rune is great for sustain)
    5k fully buffed weapon damage
30k spell resist in rune, 29k physical resist.
    25k health
    13k magica
    35k stam

Like mentioned before : hulking, spriggan, bone, shackle all work well, brass, impreg and armour master for more tanky setups.

As far as offensive sets go, the class dictates a lot which one to use.

Shackle is good on Stam sorc so you can get two streaks and two dark deals off in a row.

Hulking is nice for Stam sorc as you can really boost it with bound armaments. Power of the light for stamplar only scales with max Stam iirc so is a good choice. For stam DK, you could use it, but I would use it for the purpose of running 3 infused jewellery with WD on. With major and minor brutality plus 15% from medium, pushing weapon damage is the way to go imo.

Automaton is great for both stamplar and Stam sorc for damage but remember will not buff healing. Only good on DK if you're not running any poison.

Bone pirate is a solid choice if you aren't using health regen (not pointless if you are). If you're using troll king for instance, I like using artaeum instead (I always like using it but it's, way too expensive) so bone pirate won't work.

Wearwolf hide is very nice too, especislly for Stam dk. You can of course just back bar it if you wanted. A setup I used for my Stam sorc for a while was auto dual wield, neck & two body bits, ww hide 2h back bar & 3 body bits, troll king and 2 agility rings. Really squeezing a lot of of the build.

Of course you have spriggans as well which is another good front bar only set if you want.

Hundings is nice too still. Hundings & lover is an interesting switch to spriggans & warrior. Especially if you want crit in your build (if you're running major force or a templar who getting additional damage from crit)

+258 weapon damage, +1096 max stamina, +10% poison damage for poison injection, venom arrow, acid spray and poison glyphs.

And it's buyable with AP so it's simple to acquire. I didn't have any other sets at the time and certainly didn't want to go farming dungeons over and over. I will now though.

Was also considering Hunding's but I don't want crit in PvP. I use Hunding's for my PvE set.

I want to play with swamp raiders + Something + Balorgh on a DK. And hungering demise, possibly.

Your strength will partly come from being able to run low sustain high weapon damage because dark deal is a ton of sustain, so you want a decent mag pool. Shackle breaker and fury works ok on a Stam DK. The issue with Stam DKs isn’t that they lack damage or power healing it’s that they’re slow. They lack burst of any kind really. They’re pretty good 1v1 and in groups. Outnumbered is hard.

Fury is Warrior's Fury? Says it drops in Rewards of the Worthy but I haven't seen it and I've been doing PvP for a month.

Impregnable, one of the best defensive sets in the game. Pair medium armor with protection jewellery and you'll have both good damage and tankiness.

It used to drop in ROTW. Now I think you will either have to go to Vlastarus or find it on guild traders. ROTW sets were changed with Murkmire

You can get it from the elite vendor in one of the home gates. Don't remember which.
