do i have to buy the game if i already have the client from the beta?

Esgarrouth
i'm aware i need to have a subscription set up to actually play ESO -- but i can't figure out if i need to also pay $60 to "get the game," since the help section says you can use the beta client to play the live version.

seems like you can't get a subscription without paying at least $60 for the game download though...anybody tried doing this yet?

edit: yes, you do. question resolved, thanks all!

Yes - you need an activation code for either the imperial or standard edition of the game.

You can't input subscription details until you do.

Yes you need to buy the game - having a copy of the beta client isn't enough.

Then you will also need to set up a subscription seeing as early access is over and game is live.

Yes. You are essentially buying a license to play the game.
