Some technology will be created that will enhance data transfers from satellite to your home.
I am visioning, In the future they will have dual fiber going into our houses and gamers will wear gaming suits for more real life interaction for the virtual world we live in. VR will be an option you switch off and on. It won't be mandatory.

When they lost, they lost and tried to do better next time. So kinda curious, and off topic, but was this ever a real thing. In the era of participation awards, I wish I could agree with this.

It's just the fake news they are exposed to from the people who are constantly calling real news "fake".
Or, as is often the case, this "news" will take some single isolated incident of something absurd or excessive going on, and tell their audience that it is representative of an entire ideological wing. And, given that their audience is not particularly fond of critical thinking or the scientific method (as a single anecdote is good enough evidence for them of widespread truth), they are easily persuaded by that actual fake/misleading 'news'.
And so you get... "We live in an era of 'participation trophies". Which, outside of T-ball (or other pre-K sports), I've never seen. Unless of course their whole problem is "We don't kick 4 and 5 year olds in the gonads like we did in the 'good old days' ".
Being they're in love with the King of cowardly bullies, that attitude actually wouldn't surprise me.

Guild in game has been growing with new players joining. Always seems busy when playing.
But bring on the usual doom & gloom In which the forum excels!

I'd say this, partly because I'm one of them.
Let me be blunt.
ESO does not run on consoles anymore. It went downhill after Morrowind.
Yeah it does?
Well if you search ESO contents on Youtube and compare the like and view number with WOW channels, you'd think ESO is a tiny little game
It is inevitable that MMORPG lose the hype after few years and get into a stablized state, the fact we won all those best MMORPG rewards say nothing to worry about in near future
I have noticed a lack of activity on Band App for console players since the summer. Other websites, such as Reddit, gamefaqs are not as active with their ESO related boards.
And what makes me a little nervous was the lack of a collector's edition announcement . That, for whatever reason, makes me think that they just cannot afford to do that, hoping that this xpac can help stabilize them.
Again, I try to be very positive, but the past few weeks, I have been a little more nervous when thinking about this game's future than I did maybe in 2017 or so.
Not trying to argue, just interested in hearing other's opinions.
Not so sure about that, they have since agreed to release the product as advertised (Albeit later than they were supposed to.) So I don't think there even would be a case anymore though it could quite possibly be related. The fact they are planning to just sell items that normally would come as a collector's edition physical bonus does indicate it isn't that the company can't afford to make a physical version. It could be this, it could be because the game industry is seemingly moving away from physical copies of games. Could be one of them just had a wacky idea the rest of the dev team just went along with for some reason. (I doubt it's this.)anonymousnobodyb14_ESO wrote: »The lack of a physical collector's edition probably has a lot more to do with Bethesda (also owned by Zenimax) being currently sued over the whole Fallout 76 canvas/nylon bag thing in that collector's edition than anything having to do with the current health of ESO...

It doesn't? I thought I played on Xbox last night. Well, they DO say LSD comes back to haunt you years later....

Agreed. Console is treated like garbage by the devs. They will not acknowledge the severe difference in performance, optimization, and over all quality between console and PC. I am slowly trying to level up a character on PC NA, because it seems to be the only platform that works properly. And as a pvp player I cant pvp on xbox. Vivec is unplayable and shor is dead half the time. Sotha sil is dead all the time, and under lv 50 is not an option.
I think zos should offer people, willing to BUY the game again, a transfer to PC NA. Ideally i would like to see them fix some things on console, but thats never going to happen.
Another thing they should do is let you link your account on PC and console. And then let your eso plus work account wide. Its sad that while leveling this character on PC I would have to pay for eso plus again, or live without the craft bag and extra space.. Plus I already would be losing 3+ years of god knows how much stuff, both earned and purchased, just to have it sit on xbox and do nothing. Sad.

Microsoft won't allow that kind of transfer.
